I was looking for a HDMI cable when I came across this. May be of use to someone.

1 for £2.99 or 2 or more for £2.69 each

High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is rapidly emerging as the connection standard for HDTV.
HDMI combines high-definition video and multi-channel audio in a single digital interface to provide crystal-clear digital quality over a single cable.
HDMI offers significant advantages over analogue A/V connections, including the ability to transmit uncompressed digital video and audio content. This 19Pin HDMI cable has gold plated contacts for the best possible connection.
7dayshop.com cables are manufactured to the highest standards and represent our best possible value. We promise that our cables will offer the same or better performance than cables costing several times the price. If for any reason (and within 90 days) you are not 101% delighted with your 7dayshop.com cable please return to us for a full refund of the purchase price paid. All we ask is that the cable shows no sign of damage or abuse etc.

Gold plated doesn't mean much, compatability does, suppose we'll see when people post comments.

I got two of these from here last week, one to connect a BT PVR, the other for a Toshiba upscaling DVD player. No problems, they definately made a difference to the picture, i cant comment on the difference between these and some costing ten times as much but i am very happy.:-D Hot from me.

You might just as well buy one of these as one costing 20 times the price. It's a digital signal you're dealing with, and provided there's a decent basic level of construction (which there usually is, even on cheap cables) it's going to come out exactly the same at the other end as it would with a £100 cable.

Pointless to waste money on so-called superior cables - expensive cables are not going to improve your HD picture.

Same cable also avaliablle at Home Bargains. I know because I bought 1 today!

you can get hdmi cables from about £1.60 delivered each from amazon, so not that great a deal

just do a search and you'll find them easily. i ordered one yesterday for £1.60 give or take a couple of pence, and it included delivery. i think the cheapest worked out as 60p for the cable and £1 for delivery. there are plenty of other sizes going cheap too, plenty different traders on amazon doing them. optical cables were also cheap, cheapest was £2.24 i found, it didn't take much to find them either

i don't understand you. i presume you mean you can't advertise them as a deal here, but i'm just pointing out that you can get cables almost half the price from amazon, including delivery. i placed an order yesterday, it was £1.60ish and it was sent the same day by royal mail. i pay amazon, a company i trust, and if i have a problem i deal with amazon, not that i expect a problem to worry myself about over a cheap sub £2 item. there's plenty of people selling cables and stuff like that on amazon, and the ones i pick usually have 100s of feedback and in the 95%+ good feedback, so it's not like i'm buying from a guy working from home. i'm not advertising the deal, just pointing out that you can get cheaper elsewhere, from a reliable source, and without hassle. i don't like ebay but i trust play and amazon marketplace sellers if they have a good feedback. i'm not naming any names in particular as there are so many with similar prices for items like cables and small/cheap pc accessories and parts

yeah, but the delivery is £1.60! lol there's 100s of things on amazon at 1p but with the real price hidden in the delivery. a bit pointless as amazon show the delivery included price, unless they are avoiding refunds from the DSR, but who would bother trying to return a £2 item
#15
poor old kelly I wonder why the ban

excellent price 2 cable £2.79 each! they incresed it by 10p npw but still good. I bought these while they were posted on hotukdeals http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_7&products_id=105618 so far no problems.

Already been said but you CANNOT compare deals to Amazon Marketplace sellers on here.

I don't believe any HDMI cable could make a PS3 picture fuzzy that's just not how it works.

I had a HDMI cable from my xbox to the projector - ended up with a really grainy picture, sent it back and got a replacement (although I wanted a refund, they insisted on a replacement), which to my suprise, works perfectly!

Just to clarify this WASNT this deal, it was a cable I ordered off fleabay.

i ordered one from amazon yesterday too. I dont understand why it wouldnt be considered as a 'deal' on here. ok fair enough its from a private seller etc etc ...but so what?! isnt the point of this website to get the best possible price for a product regardless of where it comes from? I can appreciate how people may abuse the service and start 'advertising' there own products here (if they sell things on ebay/amazon) but even then as long as the price is the best on the net surely that's the whole point!!

Yeah you can, and someone already has. As long as it's not posted as a deal I don't see the issue, you're just being silly.

Voted hot, still a good price, regardless of what people say. If it does the job, and you're happy with it, then job done. Good one.

It's the posting of links to eBay / Marketplace type sellers that's not allowed, not the mentioning of the site(s).

Well ok you're not supposed to vote cold on the basis of a cheaper eBay deal ;-)

That is odd and makes no sense. I was under the impression a degraded HDMI cable should either corrupt or drop frames completely.

I bought four of these last time the deal was up so each TV in the house could have a spare with it, I've hooked up a PS3, Xbox, Toshiba HD-DVD drive and laptops all without issue.
