As part of the Amazon.co.uk "Black Friday" Promotion
Ends 11:59PM TONIGHT.

Bond is back and so too is the most influential first person shooter in console history. Years before Halo, GoldenEye on the Nintendo 64 was the multiplayer game of the age. Many games since have tried to emulate it but until now it's never had an official update.

Although the basic design of the original game is maintained this is no straight remake, with every element of the design and graphics revamped and improved for the modern age - with a new cast including Daniel Craig as Bond. With plenty of surprises for even the most avid fan of the original this still manages to retain the unique mix of action, stealth and world-beating design.

Of course GoldenEye wouldn't be GoldenEye without its multiplayer mode, with the classic four-player splitscreen mode back and playing better than ever. For the first time though there's also an eight-player online option, for the ultimate Bond experience.

Key Features

Dr Yes: The best Bond game ever, and one of the most beloved first person shooters of all time, returns with a whole new makeover and mountains of new features.

Thunderball: The ground-breaking single-player mode returns in a way you've never seen before, with new story elements, new moves, and some of the best graphics on the Wii.

Screen Giants: The classic four-player splitscreen multiplayer returns with all your favourite, levels, weapons and classic Bond villains such as Odd Job and Jaws.

Golden Gun: Use the controller of your choice from a Wii remote to a Wii Zapper, Classic Controller, GameCube joypad or even the limited edition Golden Classic Controller Pro.

Hollywood Talent: Daniel Craig takes the role of Bond, with Judi Dench as M. Plus the original film's script writer Bruce Feirstein is back to update the story for 2010.

Still waiting in the queue pressed in lightning speed and still get the lightning deal this is pointless also i dont understand why them stud earrings went so quick when around an hour ago they were selling them for £22.38 anyway stupid.
#8
I have a super fast connection and they all sold within about 10 seconds!! :(

I managed to get one, but don't have a Wii (unless I get one in their deal this week which I am planning to). If I dont' grab a cheap Wii I will sell this on - prob can sell for £45 or do CEX for £44.
it's got the controller with it that's why it's pricier than just the game.

no point of even trying to load the deals page after something has gone live, mine has been refresing itself for around 5 mintues at least. it's kinda worrying to think goldeneye has already sold out, i don't hold much hope of getting a console then..

It's just luck. I missed out on Take That but got this (Goldeneye) straight away.
#14
I thought it would last the rest of the day, but half a second later it expires, This is stupid.

Do u no wat i think i think that they could put a £20.000 TV on and it would get sold within a second i think people just buy without even looking at the price. Which means people dont end up paying and people actually want the item at the price cnt get it.
#16
You can get it on Gameplay for £29.99 anyway...with free delivery so Amazons RRP is utterly ridiculous.

By posting these Amazon 'deals' on here and folks spreading the word is simply doing what Amazon want to happen. Publicity and hits on their s(h)ite. The complaints that have flooded in already are pretty bad. Folks are waiting in a queue for an hour then nothing happens. Waste of time if you ask me, people.

Still in the queue for this (slightly ironically named) "lightning deal". Will give the others a miss I think.

I can't wait to play my copy of Goldeneye! Oh yes!
#23
probably took longer to type the deal, than the deal actually existed X)

Why are these 1 second deals getting posted individually? Join the "original" Black Friday deals thread here:

Still in Q for this one. the countdown reached 0a nd started at 2 minutes again. :(
#26
What a joke. Expired at 11.00:15 but the game is still in stock at full price. I think amazon should explicitly state how many items are on sale...

BTW just received an email from them: the deal about the CE of Crysis 2 will not be honored and all orders have been cancelled
#27
the "wii classic controller plus" is only £15 in black, though not as good as the Wavebird
#28
FYI:
Less than five minutes before this item is on offer again at Amazon...
