Excellent spot. Thanks.
#6
nice one! Wonder if they honor it? :-D
#7
They will honour it, I've picked up loads of games for 97p over the years from PCWorld. It's not a mis-price.
#8
Nice find, just reserved one at my local store. I hope they have got it in stock as shown as I have done this before and they just get it from the shop floor when I have got there. Voted hot!:w00t:

well i guess it is cheap, but don't any of you get your hopes up.

97p is about 98p more than it's worth ;)

I think I read in the last couple of days that PCWORLD are no longer honouring cashback for [email protected] items because of the amount of uncollected orders. So don't count on the extra 6p !!
#17
no stock in wolverhampton or surrounding stores:-(
#18
ordered mine for pick up tomorrow , brilliant !!

i had it on Gamecube, and it is probably one of the worst games i've ever played, if i'm honest.

but i suppose you can't argue for less than a quid.

Hi, just been to collect in store. They said I had pre-ordered and one other, 1 remaining on the shop floor - so I bought it as well to give as a birthday gift. 2 x 97p paid.
Can't go wrong, the package has £9.99 on the front. Outer case -the store removed had £29.99 on.
HAPPY SHOPPING... voted HOT

its a good game i have just been playing on it, im on the last level!
#22
Prices ending in .97, .87 etc are not misprices within the DSG (dixons stores group) - they are simply items marked for clearance by head office.

Tip: managers are permitted to 'play with' prices marked for head office clearance and so if you find any clearance items of reasonable value (£50+) instore - speak to the manager and you may be in for a real bargain!

....Obviously depends on how friendly he is tho!
#23
None left in the north east. Ive bought 3 but had to pay p&p - still £7.86 for three still aint bad!!!
#24
Non here in Hull but still available in Grimsby. :-(

Picked up my copy. The box was a little battered, from them removing all the old price stickers...£39.99, then £14.99. Guy on the till was a little shocked when the price came up as 97p:w00t:

LOL, nothing like the 1p Currys TV stand "offer":-D

Got mine tonight, went in and picked up the £14.99 marked box, the bloke at the till said they are clearance products so should go through the till as 97p so no need for the reservation code! One more left in the store, didn't want to be cheeky and get 2, the bloke probably picked it up himself!

still ones at kingston park
#32
I paid £1.50 for this on my Gamecube. I can honestly say that was a waste of money. I've played it once and that was enough. It is unbelievably bad!

:p
#33
Great find. But as usual not available in Scotland..AGAIN...:-(
#34
For those who missed out - this offer is also available in dixons and currys stores. They'll be labelled at £9.97, but will scan at 97p - i bought one in dixons this morning :)

Its not as bad a game as ppl are saying. If i had paid £20+ id consider it an average game, but for 97p its great!
#35
Cant belive people are saying this game isnt worth 97p.
#36
Seriously, EA has never made good use of the Bond license ever since they acquired it. Rogue Agent was an attempt to capitalise on the Goldeneye name that Rare used to great effect on the N64 the nineties.
#37
Ive been playing it solidly for nearly 3 hrs today and, while it offers nothing particularly unique within the genre, it is a good game!

I can see it giving a good 15hrs+ of entertainment, which equates to less than 6p an hr......Where else can you get such a deal?!

....Plus, you could probably sell it on ebay for a profit when youre done :giggle:
#38
Profit to be made when trading in?

Your standards of a good game must be very low
#40
It only sells for £3 at CEX, thats not so bad.

It would probably be about £10 in GAME stores.
