Goldeneye Wii is a re-imagining of the N64 classic game, which is still highly regarded today.

IMO HOT price for a HOT upcoming game!

Designed exclusively for Wii, GoldenEye 007 allows players to channel Daniel Craig's lethal and gritty James Bond in an innovative, modern take on the legendary Bond adventure, GoldenEye. Blending fast-paced first-person shooter (FPS) action with covert gameplay, GoldenEye 007 epitomizes the modern "thinking man's shooter" by offering varied ways to complete each mission, destructible environments, the use of cover and multiple control scheme options, including the Wii Remote, Nunchuk, Classic Controller Pro and the Wii Zapper. GoldenEye 007 redefines the multiplayer experience on Wii with unprecedented split-screen action featuring classic Bond characters and special game modes, as well as online play for up eight friends.

Features:

* Wii Exclusive - The original GoldenEye for the Nintendo 64TM redefined the FPS genre, making it a best-selling title on one of the most popular platforms. As a Wii exclusive, the new GoldenEye 007 gaming experience will reflect modern technology advancements, while channeling nostalgia for fans of the franchise.
* Split-Screen Multiplayer / Classic Bond Characters - GoldenEye 007 features an unprecedented lineup of four-player split-screen MP options, including 40 total characters, 8 classic Bond characters, 5 maps, 3 standard modes and 16 special modifiers that allow gamers to create over 500 different game combinations. GoldenEye 007 also features online multiplayer for up to 8 players designed for seasoned FPS online gamers with unique modes and a robust XP system for unlockables and achievements.
* Choose the Way you Play - In addition to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, GoldenEye 007 also supports the Classic Controller Pro for gamers who want to play with standard FPS controls and the Wii Zapper for "point and shoot" gamers; players will have several control scheme options, allowing them to experience GoldenEye on Wii any way they want.

£29.99 at Game (14p more) + quidco/topcash on top would bring it down to less than this (also you get game card points...)

This is an alternative those that dont stop at Game, besides cashback is never guaranteed. I still have missing claims from my purchases from GAME. Besides its alway good to support other retailers = more variation

Finally a game im looking forward to on the wii, my kids love the wii but so far there haven't been many adult games I liked expect resident evil 4. I loved the original goldeneye hoping this is as good...

Heat for the game but I'm sure that a lower price will be available upon release.

If this is half as good as Goldeneye, it'll still be worthwhile. Goldeneye rocks my socks.

Seems alot for a rehash of a classic game.

I picked up an N64 with Goldeneye and 4 pads for £10 from a charity shop. X)

Sorry to sound sore, but personally i think even paying £20 for a wii game on its own is a rip off due to its graphics.

The same could be said about the XBox or PS3 games as well, It's about the fun factor though primarily with all these consoles, if a game doesn't capture the imagination in the first few minutes it's likely to be going back to Game, Cex or sold again online at a lot less than paid for...

i dont know how they can cal this goldeneye it hasnt got pierce brosnan in it theyve substituted him with daniel craig !!

all there doing is cashing in on the memorys we had playing the orginal goldeneye i hope they have an option to use the classic controller most first person shooters on the wii dont work because either the control scheme is too fiddly or the remotes not sensitive enough to use or over sensistive..

i agree its cheaper to buy the orginal and a console to play it on than buy it at this price also has anyone else realisd how quickly prices are dropped so soon after release ..alan wake is less than half what my mate paid for it a few weeks ago ..it may be worth waiting until its come out to buy it if you really want it

Check the videos out on YouTube: Got 4 player split screen (with blood drip deaths), playable OddJob, jumping off the dam, killing the guy in the toilet - Facility level, sniping guards in towers, paintball mode, driving about in a tank, stealth kills from behind, and other stuff to get excited about.

BUT - it will only be a proper remake if you can set off a whole bunch of mines and slow to game down to a crawl :D

You've just brought back memorys, forgot all about paintball mode. I couldn't bare to sell my N64, so it's packed away with all of my games collecting dust. I'll get it out one day to reminisce.

graphics do not make a game, gameplay makes a game.
compared to other racing games mario kart has poor graphics but it plays better than all of them cos it has superb gameplay.

That's wrong, Amazon have it for 5th November this year. This ties in with what Nintendo said when they announced it last month.
