Prices have gone up now, Inquired about deal for £233 on web site now, spoke to travel agent over the phone now £297 :-(
Yes, the deal was posted over five days ago. Still some good prices to be had though.
Because the deal was posted over a month ago and prices have changed since then.
Why when you go to the deal does it state a completely different price?

Read then think about booking. It's supposed to be a holiday but if risk like this is involved, how can you relax? There are safer places, yes everywhere has a risk involved but this is out of the question for me.

Why do you think it's so cheap? ;)

Cos it's one way ?? (_;)

Nothing wrong with safety in Sharm.
The Egyptians are extremely dependent on foreign tourists. They've lost tourism around Cairo so wouldn't want to risk losing any more elsewhere like Sharm or Hurghada

Yeah tell that to ISIS...

Just been to the Makadi Palace for the first time and enjoyed an excellent value for money 7 day holiday all inclusive holiday booked through Golden Ticket Holidays who are specialists in this area. Good Egyptian 5 star European 4 star?) good food, excellent staff, rooms a little tired (completed 2006) ? plenty of sunbeds!
Not familiar with Sunrise Makadi but the hotels in this area are not all owned by the same company read johnny 1 Read trip advisor responses and make your own mind up! Makadi Spa is new and quite plush.
Golden Ticket are a well established company based in Plymouth partnered by Kuoni and ABTA bonded- I had no problems but just (cheaper) agents for Red Sea Holidays.

We were booked for the sharm resort when we arrived they upgraded us to the plaza we had a fantastic 2wks,only moan there was no beach just a jetty when the travel agent said there was.good value for money.

Haven't stayed here, but we stayed at The Sharm Plaza which is part of the same complex. The offer says you can use all the restaurants and facilities at the Plaza as well, if that's true it's a great deal oO

Yes - that's what I understand - the Sharm resort is like an accommodation extension to the Sharm Plaza.

See the 360 view virtual tour and both are listed as same complex

Seems cheap, any idea who the flights will be with?

Flying Monarch.

I've travelled with Golden Ticket in the past. What's so nice is they don't have any hidden extras. No more hols for us this year, but I would definately recommend them.

You are a funny bunch of people. :) This is a deals site, in case you hadn't all noticed, and, whether you can take advantage of what's on offer or not, if it's a deal then it's a deal.

This is a very good price for what's on offer (and was first posted on the 29th) and not quite but almost last minute.

Personally, I love Egypt but have no experience of the Red Sea resorts as they hold no attraction for me.

My earlier comment - Oh, I do agree but my point was that a lot of people are scared off by the unrest in the country, as "Savo" suggests, and so I still suggest that this level of discount would not be available if they did not need to fill empty rooms. - still stands and has nowt to do with my feelings about Egypt and the Egyptians, only about the perception of potential visitors.

Nah, its a sh*t hole, admit it.
I thought I'd missed out on this deal, but I've just called and it's the same price for next Friday the 9th March. Really great value, I've just got to work out a cheap way to get to Gatwick or Manchester Airport, want to avoid paying for parking if I can 8)

I can say that this hotel was excellent as I was there for my birthday end of January.
Paid £389 all inclusive, would go again without a doubt....

Ranked 4th highest in Makadi bay on trip advisor for a reason!

Two weeks all inclusive to Orlando - including park tickets - the works £50 per person inc flights, baggage, car hire, staying in a villa with own pool in Kissimmiee sleeps 10 - maid service cooks all meals.
Fly from Manchester Airport
To get this price you must book and travel by 21:00 on Thursday March 1st 2012

Seriously - deal to fly tomorrow for a few hundred quid - how's that hot - who's gonna get time off work at that kind of notice and can just pop off to Egypt for a week???
And if your not working and can afford it - then your surely not in need of looking for bargains.
Maybe - just maybe you coincentally have the time off and are at aa loose end - so yes Hot for 5 people for this specifc deal.
Sorry - it makes me laugh what gets hot hot hot votes.

Because if you can its a great deal ... isnt that what this website is all about!!! According to you nobody should post a deal unless 100% of the population can take advantage!!

Sorry - where did I say 100% of population - its got a miniscule amount of people able to take it up - just like the guy a few weeks back posting cakes or something in his local supermarket that were reduced - because the best before date was looming - cracking deal for people in his town - but hardly worthy of massive heat - thats what I was pointing out - the massive heat to a deal for jus ta handful of people.
I wonder how many people clicked the add heat button without seeing the restrictions to the deal - that's the full point of my original post - the heat people were adding for such a restricted deal.

I'm taking my soap box home now.
