The Goldring GX-200 are 5-star rated, ultra-portable, flexible and high performance earphones. The superb noise reduction lets you enjoy the dynamics, range and clear sound that the GX-200s deliver.

The adjustable cable system allows the phones to be worn symmetrically or asymmetrically and the included silicone ear buds are in small, medium and large sizes. There's also a pair of Goldring's Comply tips included which provide excellent noise reduction and ensure you enjoy great sound from these fantastic GX-200 phones.

great price, although i beleive these are now EOL for Goldring
#2
Had these for over a year, fantastic buds.

I have 2 sets of these (thought I'd lost one) Only thing I could fault is a volume control would've been useful but overall they are great. The Comply tips really block out background noise. Hot from me!

Great deal. Hot

Not great reviews of these anymore:

According to my friend they've not got any bass.
#6

any good for running?

Great price. I had them for a while before I upgraded and they're a good pair of earphones. They amplify body noise a lot when walking so wouldn't recommend for running. Good if you want to sit perfectly still though!

Poor What Hi-Fi review puts me off

Ordered and heat added - I reckon these will all be gone by the morning!

I have some and love them. Great bass, comply tips really comfortable. Build quality not the greatest te 2 bits of plastic in each earphone have a habit of popping apart and need squeezing/glueing back together.

I would echo the comments about walking/running with them. They really do amplify body noise and make for an odd experience when moving around!
#12
Great earphones and Fantastic customer service from goldring! i couldnt recommend them higher!
#13
Worth upgrading from some CX500s?
#14
I had a pair of these a couple of years ago - decent sound, but they only lasted a couple of months before one of they broke - the left bud simply failed.
#15
I had some of these from Play, ended up sending them back as they were so bad. No where near as good as Sennheisers.
#16
Good price for a good pair of earphones.

Be warned though: Use a throwaway email address with superfi - they will spam you

No one, other than their advertisers, takes What HiFi seriously.

this has been re-reviewed if you look at their magazine. at the price of £20, this has 5-stars i believe. Might be 4...

either way, the review posted is old

To anyone wondering, this happens with all in-ear headphones, not just these ones.

actually i know a few audiophile types who have muttered similar things to me recently..
when you think about it, somebody's got to be paying the bills, and when your very survival is reliant on advertisers money just how objective can you afford to be.. ???

I had a pair and hated them. Was sorry for the guy I sold them to. I did warn him profusely but he must have been desperate.

I'd recommend the Sennheiser CXs (300, 400...), or Creative EPs over these any time.

Not voted hot or cold for the deal.

Build quality on my pair was appalling. Went back to my CX300's when these fell apart. Glad they were free.

from what I've heard, what Hi-Fi is fairly reputable. however, the difference between a 4 and 5 star *allegedly* is whether or not they get to keep the sample.

I got a pair of these a while ago, and I find them ok quality and not so comfortable to wear. My Sony EX71's were much nicer and sounded better for similar price (now EOL also). I think a lot of mags give these earphones away with subs.

Got a pair when they were listed on here before, think it was £25-odd from Play so I'm bummed they're now so cheap!
That said they've been excellent for me and my odd-shaped ears, the Comply tips are fantastic at blocking extraneous noise, I can even run with them on!
