Barged our way into the union, with a kung fu kick...

If anyone lives near the Metrocentre then "That's Entertainment" has a couple of their albums for 99p each.
#6
Great album. There's also a 10th Anniversary Edition out there (not at £2.99 though) which contains all the b-sides/extra tracks from the album.
#7

I'm 44 but the same applies!

Fantastic album (so good i even bought it on MD ), just a shame it was the only properly good album they made..
#12
It's such a good album, one of those that subconsciously keeps making you turn the volume up a little more. Brilliant!
#13
there is a free download of a new single 'options' on their website (gomez the band) at the moment, prior to the release of the album in June.

ben ottewell also recently released a solo album, shapes and shadows

Are you sure? What about Liquid Skin? Definitely on a par with Bring It On. Tracks like R&B Alibi and Rosalita? Give it another couple of listens, you'll see what I mean. On another day, I'd maybe say that it was better.

I agree that the albums after that were pretty hit and miss (all have got a couple cracking tracks on them - mostly those with Ben Ottewill taking the lead vocal).

Probably the most accomplished band I've ever seen live. They're touring the UK in a few month's time, worth checking if you've never been before (although they do do things a bit differently since they did the 10th Anniversary of Bring It On tour)

I love Selena Gomez!

Oh ... wrong artist ...

Awful whiny generic student indie album that's 20 years out of date. No wonder the guy on the CD cover is holding his nose - this music stinks!

Couldn't disagree more.

This and Liquid Skin are sublime albums. Bit hit and miss later on. But for £2.99 this is great.

Heat added.

Don't feed the troll guys.

Gomez are great - eagerly anticipating their new album this year. Nobody has mentioned How We Operate yet?! Tch.. :(

Three fantastically talented vocalists. Brilliant album, a steal at 3 quid.

How We Operate - first half awesome, second half pony. Although it did feel like a bit of a return to form (the first part at least)
#22
Great album and a great price but boy did they grow tiresome, monotonous and utterly dreadful pretty swiftly after Liquid Skin. One of a few bands to have gone down this route - another being Eels.
#23
Best band ever. Can't wait for their new album in a few months.

I'm playing this the most from their collection. Totally agreed, the first half is dynamite and another shift in direction for them. I get goosebumps every time i listen to them.

As people have stated, great album, great band, great price. Saw them in Leeds festival back in 2000 and were amazing. Think this album won mercury prize if I remember rightly.
#26
Love this band, hot!!!
#27
Muust buy more copies :D

Seriously.. best band ever!

In Our Gun has some good tunes on as well, so does Abandoned Shopping Trolley Hotline.

This one is the best though, truly awesome album. I still remember the first time I heard the opening bassline on 'Get Myself Arrested' and thinking it was the best thing I'd ever heard :)

Even the B-sides to the album were awesome. Pick Up The Pieces is one of the finest songs I've ever heard.
