regarding returns to Play...I just received an incorrect T-Shirt that I ordered for my son (Star Wars Clone Wars ordered, adult Batman received) and sent them a message through the site to advise of this. A few hours later I received an email to state that they are sending the correct item and gave me a code for returning the incorrect product.

I had a CD go missing in the post a while back which was on order from Play and once the time period for missing orders had passed they asked if I wanted a replacement or money refunded. I chose the refund which happened pretty easily and without trouble.

I have ordered quite a bit from Play and must say I am pretty impressed so far with the service.h

Well I have been waiting 2 weeks so far. My comment is relevant as I am warning buyers, its not all about the price. Its about a good deal & if something that is faulty cant be returned then its not a good deal.

If you receive the wrong product from a company you legally don't have to return it according to Trading Standards. It is considered a 'gift' sa you never ordered it and the company in question still have to send you what you ordered in the first place.

i ordered an item, got wrong one, re-sent and refunded postage, fine for me...

Gone for the He-Man/She-Ra Christmas Special DVD for £1.99:thumbsup:

The person saying sort by price on play.com. You cant do this on play.com because they dont offer any sort of option choice, which becomes a nightmare when browsing for anything other than what they are promoting or what you can search for. Theres no price sort and there should be these common features like rivals have, its one thing that lets play.com down in a lot of ways.

Anyone disagreeing try browsing the site rather than searching, its just a miss match of any ordered items, low and behold anyone wanting to search by price or make of product!

I'm fairly certain certain this is incorrect, there is also a big difference between unsolicited goods and a mistake. If it is legally correct it's fairly sh***y to recommend people do this...

Did you just send the item back without contacting them first.Thats the problem I'm having as the web states an RMA is needed.

You need to go to the help section on their site, then "help with your order" then "I want to return an item" then click on "view order history" then login and highlight the item you want to return.

I have cancelled items and returned items without any problem. The email addresses I've used in the past to contact them were [email protected]">[email protected] and [email protected]">[email protected]. Hope this helps.

You do NOT have to pay for the return, the company pays. And they can refuse to send the correct item until the incorrect item has been returned:thumbsup:

Whatever happens you should not be out of pocket

Thanks for help. I tried to retrun via " I want to return an item" to no avail as my faulty item was 30 days old & I'm guessing this function only works upto 28 days. I will use the email addresses you have provided.thanks
