£25.00 @ George (Asda George)
Meant to be £40 scanning at £25 in Asda. Not sure if it's just local or not but it's amazing sound for the price at £40 let alone £25. Read More

The polaroid branded one £30 online. Looks like it's the same soundbar just different branding. http://direct.asda.com/george/christmas-shop/tech-gaming/polaroid-transformable-soundbar-50w/000554098,default,pd.html

Ahhh these will sound just as good if not worse than your current TV speakers!

I bought a Goodmans sound bar on sale half price at £40. It was terrible. Unfortunately it's marred my expectations of cheap soundbars, I feel you get what you pay for. Unless I can try one for a week, I'm steering clear.

I think if you're going to have separate parts to a soundbar, it should be a dedicated subwoofer. Every once in a while I see ok offers in Sainsbury's for around £65. I would save the £25 and put it towards a highly rated one from Amazon (not necessarily bought from them). Haven't voted hot or cold, as this might be ideal for some.

Well buy cheap buy twice... I would not go for anything less than this if you want to actually hear clear crisp dialogue and have a bit of bass for action sequences..

What could be worse? It being a Polaroid or Goodmans :D

I bought one of these last year 10 times better than my expensive Panasonic tv speakers worth every penny.

My Dad used to have some Goodmans speakers at the back of his Granada Ghia X 2.9i

When it comes to soundbars you really want to spend a little more on something decent.. you don't have to spend silly money but this Samsung is good for £89... theres also an LG one for under £90 which has a very good sound.

These £20 ones are utter rubbish... the only situation I would recommend this goodmans one is if you have a thin tv with REALLY bad tinny speakers that don't output any low frequencies at all.... and if that same tv is in a spare/guest room.

Seriously don't go for these cheap soundbars for your main room or main tv.. unless the tv speakers are exceptionally bad they wont improve sound much. if at all.

Trust me, they are still a 100% improvement to what comes standard in TVs nowadays.
Bought one for the tinny sounding blaupunkt bedroom tv, and it is a vast improvement. Ok, it would probably sound like a grand orchestra concert if I had paid £200 for a better one, but the £30 Polaroid ones do just fine for my use.

To be fair a pair of £10 PC speakers would be an improvement to a Blaupunkt TV lol.
