These look like a decent shout for the cash. They were down to about £26 from Amazon before (Different colours) and have been spotted around £20 in various stores, just not online.

Reviews are brill for this price point as well. Might make a nice Christmas gift as well (sorry I know it's only October :p )

Info
The question is, what does the DAB offer? It has both a Digital Radio and FM Tuner allowing you to switch between frequencies if required ensuring you will enjoy the benefits of radio wherever you are;

The favourite stations feature allows you to tag a number of your favourite channels and tune through these only, saving you the time and the hassle; It has an LCD display which is backlit giving the screen an increased clarity;

The GMR1886 is an elite model from this particular range as the size, quality and sound is enhanced. You will not be disappointed with this model, as it has all the features you could ever need.

Was that in store? Didn't see online that's all :)
Still think it's alright at this price point to be honest. Each to their own though, absolutely!

Online, but earlier this year. Can get the DAB+ stations other DAB radios just a pity Goodmans did not have the foresight to include it.

just to let you know that I have one of these in my bathroom at home, and was so impressed I bought 2 for the offices where I work.
Excellent DAB reception and really good sound quality for such a little (and cheap) radio.
The office ones run off the mains, but the one in my bathroom runs on batteries, which last a surprisingly long time for a DAB radio, far better than the previous radio I had in there.
I accept that it might not get all the stations, but if you are a fogey like me and listen to the main BBC and Global radio stations (Classic FM, Smooth, Heart, Capital, Jazz FM) for example then this is a great buy.

Plant Rock.... Or even Planet Rock is not a DAB+ station.

Got one of these. Good sound quality and receives a good choice of channels. Ideal to listen to whilst working in the garage, but dont expect Bose quality. But still a good dab radio

Whether the lack of DAB+ is an issue really depends on what the life expectancy of the radio is. A few years and although you'll be missing a number of stations, the selection is likely to be more than adequate as DAB+ services will remain on the margins.

Until the BBC makes the game-changer move and announces a (distant) date for starting to shift some of its services to DAB+ (e.g. 6 music, 4 extra), it really isn't much of a consideration at this price point.
