I have just bought this myself and the £2 voucher works perfectly - it only cost me £5.99 plus I got Quidco with it, too - a bargain!

I hope you're joking :)

This is a hot deal even without the voucher!

can anyone get the voucher to work?

It did get a bit old when every joke was about being Indian in a British context. Pretty much everything those guys have done since has used the same formula - which is a shame as they're smart people and good actors.

The voucher deal has expired - it stopped working about 12:00.

As I said earlier £7.99 is still a good price - about £4 cheaper than the next best on find-dvd.

I'd agree with that - I'm not sure I could watch 4 discs back to back ;-)

Nope.

The 'comedy' in this is cringeworthy sitcom serves reminder of how we used to be in this country towards minorities groups. Racism with a smile.

Oh give it a break, this is not racism, it was written by the indians having a laugh at themselves and their community!!!
I am an indian and I found it hysterically funny cos I could see my dad and mum and the rest of my friends and relatives in those characters.
Funnily enough my wife could see the "Cheque please" guy in me.

The only downside to this was when the toilet humour started setting in after they ran out of ideas.

Regards
Toady.

I can see how they were exploiting race in the humour - but in my view series like this only helped break down some of the old bastions against representation of minority groups on TV. Perhaps we'll have to agree to disagree.

Oh come on. If it was THAT offensive then OFCOM wouldn't have allowed the BBC to air it, let alone release it on DVD. It is lighthearted humour for all to enjoy. It is merely fun and nothing cruel or with racist intent is ever uttered or referred to at any point.

If you think it's that bad, then, quite simply, don't watch it.

Things move on thankfully, what was once considered acceptable years ago, no longer is.

A prime example being the advertures of a Mr Alf Garnett.

Exactly. "Things move on".

Well, the fact is that it's for sale on DVD so that those who find it funny have the opportunity to buy it and for those who don't find it funny (such as yourself) don't have to buy it. It's as easy as that.

For the rest of you - enjoy!
