Yes it was, it just disappeared, perhaps a mod pulled it, don't know why as edi and millercat posted on it

Hmm, at last a reason to bother using Google checkout again.
As has been said, not quite as good as the last time, but then that one was pretty special.
Cheers.

If you are buying anything from JML may i recommend you pick up a tub of Doktor Power, it really does work! Cleans pretty much everything and is mostly effortless! The £5 off will mean you get it free :p

Not nearly as good as last time

Just saw this in the small print...

Limit one per person at either dabs.com or Goldsmiths. Limit two per person at JML Direct, Cartridge People, Dangleberry Music, BedWorld and Hawes and Curtis..

During the last checkout promo, some users were warned by Google for placing multiple orders at just over £30 to take maximum advantage of the discount several times.

As to whether they will stop multiple orders or not this time round no one knows for sure since this promo only just started. Just don't be disappointed if you do find you order cancelled, or the discount removed, if you try more than once :)

The free postage offer also works with Google checkout as well which is a surprise!
#18
Phew

If Ebuyer was included i would have been raging after just buying near enough a new system lol
#19
Google checkout doesnt work at bedworld unless your buying something super expensive :(

Tried several mattresses and it says google checkout is not available with this product :(
#20

Yes it does, just used it to buy this item: http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=45KF
for 49 pounds (delivery included)!

Great stuff, infact I stumbled on it a few hours ago at DABS. I used the free delivery code for an item that I wanted to buy at £50 and was surprised that there was Google checkout bonus of £5 off!

:? :? Though I am not sure if quico tracking cookie would work since the payment transaction is actually done on the GOOGLE web site since you are directed to https://checkout.google.com/view/buy?o=shoppingcart&shoppingcart ....etc. Does any one know about this and had experience last time using Google check and still got paid on Quidco?:? :?

ditto, I just spent 70£ there one a few things.

I always use google checkout unless theres a good reason not to, a offer that you must use the stores own system.

I find it a lot less hassle entering my details into each and remembering the various login ids and passwords. Gmail and Googlemail make it easier.

If only Ebay didn't rip everyone off with paypal.

Last time this offer was on none of the transactions through google checkout tracked with quidco, I do have tickets out on them ie. two with The Sports HQ for April and May still outstanding - they just have sent to merchant on them - so unless they have changed something I would say no.

It has mainly good reviews:

Went for one, since it's a good price & top quality TV card!

You can buy exactly the same substance in Lidl, or numerous pound shops, for a pound.

" Save £5 on all purchases at JML Direct.
Minimum purchase of £35." So not so good really.

Looked for this in Lidl today...could not find it. Is it branded as something else?
#32
well i said IF you are buying something from JML as in you are already ordering something to take you over the £35 minimum, then pick up a tub of doktor power as you'll get it free with the £5 off :p not telling you to order loads of them to get 1 free LOL, otherwise it equates to just gettin free postage!

Proof????
#34
Are you calling me a Proof????

You'll just have to take my word for it. Or pop into Lidl and try a tub. It's gone up now, still less than two quid though and I think you get more than from the good Doktor
#35
was asking for proof that its £1 in numerous shops before i trek across to them only to find that its just someone making an unfounded claim to look cool at how cheap they get stuff for :p

so you are saying that its the same brand and all for £1 or now less than £2 ? If so thats a hot deal in itself as its such good stuff!
#36
Its not the same brand, but is the same stuff. JML products are overpriced in order to pay for the video players in Woolworths etc. Anything JML promote will be available elsewhere for a fraction of the price, so this hardly warrants Hot Deal status.

You'll be telling us next that a Magic Eraser is worth four quid.
