Includes 1 Months free Netflix.. (I guess this is in addition to the usual 1 month Netflix gives new users but don't quote me on that )

edit.. offer looks to be upgraded to 3 months Netflix!! definitely a good deal now.

Great, now I've got more Chromecasts than TV's. First world problems.

I bought one of the Tesco Chromecasts for £18 last week, and it actually came with a sticker on it promising three months of Netflix, not one! Haven't tried it though as it's a gift for Christmas.

You can also get this direct from Google for £20
(Audio is also £20)

Have you had a look in the offers section of the Chromecast app (now called Google Home) ?

Not recently, but then I'm not too interested at the moment anyway. I was more mentioning it in case it might actually be three months for the OP's Chromecasts.

A nice little bargain here, and you're welcome.

Interestingly I just got an email from Argos about a Chromecast offer starting tomorrow (6th) where it says you get 3 months free Netflix, not sure if it is just a typo or whether they are putting on a new offer tomorrow. Will be interesting to see though the sceptic in me says if they are really doing 3 months the price will not remain £20 as the 3 months Netflix alone would be worth more....
#9
Doesn't it just say "Start your 1 months free trial"? I would read that to mean that you get a month free when you start Netflix...

I want to buy 2016 model chromecast 4k ultra and not this old 2015 model I already have from last year sale. I don't think there is one month extra, just normal 1month free trial which is standard.

There isn't a link as such as it was just in the email from them, but I have put a screenshot below:

I went on chat to ask about it but the adviser didn't seem to know anything about it, though I suppose that is possible since it isn't actually live yet, assuming it isn't a typo, which wouldn't be a first for Argos....

I got that email from Argos earlier today, when clicked through it comes up as 1 month free Netflix.I did not look into it in any greater detail though, great deal for 3months,if it happens at this price.

if its not new users my one i bought from JL for £18.00 is going back and getting this the extra £2 for 1 or 3 months netflix is a good deal. just wait for the dust to settle to confirm what the deal actually is.
#18
as said, claim the Netflix from tomorrow, Netflix is 3 months, in our workplace, we have some stickers showing 3 months of Netflix to place on to the boxes.
#19
Is this 1 or 3 months Netflix?
#20
I got a chrome cast from Argos it said 1 month free Netflix included online. When I bought it, it didn't mention it on the box or inside I asked about it on the help option by speaking to an advisor who didn't know anything about it. I rang the store who knew nothing either do I returned it,where I asked them to check other boxes all were the same & I bought the same from Currys for £18 saving £2

I was looking into this before and you can put kodi onto your Android phone (never checked I phones etc) and there is a way of casting so in effect yes you could put kodi through your TV using a the Google cast. Google it and you will see. I got kodi on my phone, that part was easy but I didn't manage to get it to cast!

Anyone know if the 3 months is for new users only? I alreday have an active sub (and already have a chromecast) but I'd probably buy another if I could add the 3 months onto my existing sub....

Would be also be very interested to know if existing subscribers can use this offer.

Wondering the same thing!!

Google's own site suggests the £20 offer finishes today. Wouldn't be surprised to see all retailers return prices to £30 overnight as this new offer kicks in.

You could always order on fast track so you pay now and collect tomorrow - thus holding the price of £20

i want to give the cast to my dad and i want to keep the netflix for myself without him knowing. Is this on the box anywhere and will he find out...? is is separate packaging

Can you pick which tier the 3 months is for? I'd like 3 months free on the premium tier but I doubt that's going to happen
