Seems like a good deal, Pixel has held at £599 since release so that would mean you're paying 172 for service over 24 months which is just over £7 per month which seems to be in line with some of the sim-only deals bumping around. Obviously not for the mobile-data hungry but 3GB is workable.

I'd get it but phones should only ever be black haha

There's a 20GB deal down the page for £35pm with £75 upfront which seems a better deal to me, again on O2. (£25 quidco too)

Phone looks old compared to the new S8. Worth waiting for Pixel 2 later this year imo

anyone think this will drop soon?

I don't think so. It started as a very high priced handset and even with the new Pixel I can't see it dropping significantly.

Perhaps when the currently only rumoured Pixel 2 comes out, which will be October at the earliest

You've almost convinced me to get it in silver just for the meme possibilities

Not saying I disagree, was just looking around since I'm out of my contract period. Would've gone for this deal if I could take this in black.

Instead I'll go sim-only for a few months and see what turns up (which includes news on Pixel 2).

Got a link? I did try searching other Pixel deals before posting but, as is often the case in places like this, the search function doesn't actually turn up what you're looking for

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the same deal at the website, but again only silver :(

Won't let me copy directly but search by O2 and view "More Deals", it's 7th on list

I usually don't get wound up by comments here but this thread has tipped me over.
It is amazing how people can rubbish a phone without ever using it!
I have had the Pixel since December and it has been the best phone bar none (I also have an iPhone 7 for work for perspective).
The Pixel has been as fast and smooth as day one! (no lag whatsoever)
System and security updates are received on day one of release! (stock android has come a long way)
Screen is one of Samsung's best from their current generation, the CPU was the latest on release, the camera still trumps everything including the current S8/G6!
Phone reception is amazing thanks to that strange glass panel at the back.
The after sales support from Google has been only second to Apple if not matching up! (they have a very useful dedicated app built right into phone for direct support)
The only gripe was aesthetic.. mainly the bezel and lack of waterproofing but that is nitpicking given the whole package!
Price..i.e. the touchy point was on par with competitors on release (its amazing how Samsung have increased their prices this year by quite a bit for the S8 range and it has not been an issue for people)
Nevertheless, I hope the above comments gives potential users some useful insight of an actual user (not people giving opinion based on other people's reviews etc).

It's not a current generation screen, it's 1920x1080 for a start, not to mention the majority if not all have a horrible yellow tint and they suffer from screen burn quite easily.

They have all got greedy, Apple started this nonsense and the 24 month contracts.
Huawei used to be a budget choice and now they are charging crazy money for things.
I hope the bottom falls out of this market soon.

Using Code VC15OFF takes the upfront cost down to £60
