For anyone who is looking to buy the latest android handset from google, you've probably hit a wall with ridiculous monthly asking prices.

Well, I've asked and shopped around, and here are 2 of the best deals that you can get, going full hog, on the Google Pixel XL 128gb.

For comparison: (SimFree with similar plan) £819 + £20/24m = £1300 (Total Term)

The deals

O2 20GB, £47/24m, Upfront £250 = £1378

Vodafone 12GB £47/24m, Upfront £200 = £1328

If you want to pay more upfront

Vodafone 12GB £37/24m, Upfront £400 = £1288

The upfront costs include the "sweet talking" a CS person (i.e. showing interest in the sale).

Enjoy your new phone

I don't think there is any point to preorder Pixel
Google is going to push this phone after its out with a lot of extras for less money.

But it looks so dam ugly oO

looks so bad, the whole reveal was showing off software features which will be on every other android phone lol, you don't seem samsung spending the whole release showing off touchwiz

This is so cold even my phone froze
#9
I don't mind it, but for that price... pah, guess again. What are Google doing?!
#10
I know people will complain because of the price... But, are there any detailed reviews I could read to find out why it's so expensive?!
#11
I like google, but I don't know what they are thinking. Most people are happy with the 6p and the features on these phones don't outweigh the cost of the fairly priced 6p along with the fact someone mentioned, by Jan other devices will be getting the new features as it was mentioned a number times in the release "The Pixel will be the first phone to LAUNCH with google assistant (aka N 7.1).

what a good deal this is and I thought my moto g for 50 quid was a stock android bargain

As a die hard Android fanboy absolutely no reason anyone should choose this over an S7, M10 or a V20, heck even an iPhone.

I am an Android fan, but they are "having a bubble" with this phone.

Good specs, but why have a massive bezel on a phone nowadays and also the cost is ludicrous.

All the comments ever made about how iphones are over priced and poked fun at them... take it back and redirect it all to Pixie... I mean pixel now. Wow what a minger of a phone.
#16
Wow do you get 2 phones for that price?

I love nexus phones, but in this case better take oneplus 3 for £329.
#18
looks too warm in here... let me cool it down with a respectable cold vote.... over priced....

I think I will stick with my OnePlus 3. I can't see these new Pixel phones selling as well as the Nexus phones did.

Shock as Pixel deal triggers more price moaners

they appear to be extracting the urine with this price!
#22
it's a joke

It is a silly price, but the same price point as the iPhone, you don't see an iPhone get this chilly!

This almost makes me wish for a Bing phone. FU Google.

Microsoft make many fine mobile devices that have Bing.

Anyway, this deal is so cold it stops Samsung note from catching fire.

they matched the price because they have to compensate for the unlimited photo and video cloud storage. in my opinion its well worth it instead of buying extra memory card. I am buying this just because of that incentive, just hope it doesnt expire for the first buyers.

That's because the iphone is the only option for an ios device. The pixel has lots of competition. How can they charge twice as much as the similar specced one plus 3 or lg g5? Its a shame as I would have gone for this at ~£550 and bought the vr headset too

This is true, I was hopeful of the pixel though as it was looking like a 5" smart phone with a big spec, just a shame about the price. I'd love to see a few more premium sub 5" Android devices, I don't want a phablet!

The huge bezel at the bottom and no dual speaks is a let down.

So if money were no object, would this be a considerable enough leap over the Huewai 6p?
Looking for a phone that's gonna last me the next 3 years.

No, especially when it only gets support for 2 years.

No, Jacjactac. It's different, but only an incremental change when compared to the 6p. However, it's leaps and bounds better than the LG 5X.

RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED.
