Goose Feather And Down Duvet/Quilt, 10.5 Tog, Super King Size

Premium Quality Spring / Autumn duvet is filled with 95% Goose feather and 5% natural Goose down. While the feather and down has been specially chosen for it's high thermal qualities, all our natural duvets contain fillings that have been washed, sterilised and steam purified to the European Feather & Down Associations highest standards making them hypoallergenic.

It's not funny. Watch these videos, hope you have a good night rest under your new duvet. (BTW, buy from IKEA, they only use downs from dead birds)..

Chill out man! They were only having a chuckle at the choice of words ;)

In a lot of places they will use the down, but the goose will be used for food too, so making the most of the bird.

Well I hate geese so I'm buying!!!:whistling:

Does anybody actually have one of these, obviously the 13.5 tog one is warmer but is it too warm in summer? and also is the 10.5 tog warm enough in winter?

thanks in advance.

haha, love it!

I have a 10.5 tog which I use all year round. 13.5 is much too thick for summer.
Hope it helps!

yeah I do all my dusting with a pressure washer

Agree with pet2000. I would want to know the down came from dead birds.

If it doesn't mention it then assume they are plucked from live birds.
It's a horrible thought.

Just bought the 13.5 tog double from bhs was £60 reduced to £24 and the 20%code works so got it for £19 and free delivery, and it feels like down so no birds hurt:thumbsup:
#21
Fab, thanks. Was looking to buy a new one, as it will probably cost nearly that price to have my current one dry-cleaned!

I have a 10 tog at the moment, will I notice the extra half a tog? I was gonna spend the money on a torch with the power of a million candles instead but now i'm not so sure...
#24
just got a double duvet and 2 pilows! voted hot!!!
#25
It depends how long you've had the duvet. You probably won't feel the extra 0.5 tog, unless your duvet is old, and then it could make all the difference.
#26
Got a Goose feather and down duvet. Hoping to find a down only one as they are much much nicer.
#27
Pet 2000 I had know idea they were plucked while alive thank you so much will allways check now and to all who have bought them sleep well .

I think the Rhod Gilbert reference might have missed a few people - saw him on BBC1 at the weekend - still as funny as ever.:-D
