It's a good price for the quality that you're getting, and for Mother's Day it's nice to show her you love her.;-)

Just bought to mind the Durex Play in the other thread:p

It's not cruel by the way - no humans are harmed in the making of it, and it adheres to labour laws.

OOOOooo, do they have Bear Bile gravy to go with it as well?

You're only posting this to cause offense and confilct here on HDUK.

This is not a special offer and it can be found cheaper elsewere for the same quaility. You're just a troll.

How dare you??:x:x

I have been looking for some of this beautiful stuff for a while and thought I'd post it for others to enjoy. It's the best price for the quality and it comes from a well-known, reliable stockist.

I don't work for Fortnum and Mason - if Harrods or any other stockist was this cheap (and reliable) I'd post that.

I agree but you have to get past the "dont eat animals brigade" first,

Its no different than eating veal, the manner that the animal is killed should not make a difference to our morals, at the end of the day the animal is killed, whether it is pronged, electrocuted, bolted, shot or trapped we still eat it,
#29
Precisely talking about welfare - look at the way that the millions of chickens that we eat are farmed in huge cramped barns

I saw a program on Foie Gras production and the "Force Feeding" issue is overplayed - the process is very quick (1 or 2 seconds) , efficient and the geese show no signs of distress during the process.

All animals get fed and fattened up for our consumption and some even get the dubious pleasure of being made in to leather jackets and shoes - its all exploitative but that is the way of the world -

There is far worse human exploitation in places like China and India where the vast majority of our clothes, electrical items etc etc come from.

No Fortnum and Mason near me.

Anyone stopping by Piccadilly can pick some up for me, with some beluga and blinis and a bottle of 1996 Krug?

Mmmmm. Hot from me!

My thoughts exactly. A lot of the 'deals' we see on here are made from the benefit of exploiting other people in other parts of the world. It seems a bit churlish to criticise this one as some geese have been overfed.

Having lived in Hungary for a long time, I'm rather partial to a bit of foie gras.

I also like a nice steak too.

Common sense - the deal is a separate issue to whether some accept the practice or not.:whistling:

This is, after all a website about hot deals, not practices.
