Handy for keeping a better hold of your GoPro camera and taking selfies, POV or follow-cam footage, this buoyant handle delivers more stability and control—making it easy to aim and frame your shots. Perfect for surfing, kayaking, wakeboarding and more, it floats any GoPro camera plus BacPac™ accessory so you can shoot in and around the water. Includes an adjustable wrist strap and waterproof to 33' (10m).

Helps you capture steadier footage compared to holding the camera by hand
The handler keeps your GoPro afloat so you can shoot in and around the water

Cheapest I can find, don't how long it will be at the price.

I have a cheaper version of the same thing from eBay, think it cost £3 - is this worth an extra £15, probably not.

I don't know, I got it for DD who said her friend had a cheaper ebay one and it broke whilst scuba diving luckily she managed to get hold of it otherwise it would have been an expensive loss. These seem to be about £35 everywhere else and as it is own brand I'd guess you'd have more of an argument with them if the handle did break and your camera was lost/broken.

What argument would you have. Sorry GoPro your stick broke and I've lost my camera.
If you're expecting them to say sure have another GoPro and stick then I'd like some of the stuff your smoking. What a weird thing to say.

Heat though. I've ordered one as the one I bought from Amazon is about 2 times the length and this is small and will be better quality then eBay ones for £3.
Plus if it breaks I might get a new GoPro. Hahaha

Nah but you've got a stronger argument that their handle was carp and caused you to lose your camera and bought the one recommended by them ;)

What worries me is how they broke the cheaper one (especially underwater!) - they aren't fragile just because they are cheap, they are both made from the same thickness of plastic, presumably moulded on some big machine, in that respect branding doesn't make it any better quality.

The 3 lugs on the grip slot into the 2 lugs on the GoPro case, and are held by universal screws. to that end the branded version is no different to the £3 version.
