No the 4K version is the Black Edition - retails for £360 from GoPro

Silver Edition is 1080p and retails for £280 from GoPro (but there are always better prices elsewhere)

The Hero 3 Black Edition and Hero 3+ Black Edition are both 4K.

This is a Hero 3+ Silver Edition, so, not 4K

Didn't need one, bought one :( thanks op.

Price match with GoOutdoors brings it down to £179.99. I was going to buy one but might go for an SJ4000 as its just for something to play with.

Delivery and returns are easy with amazon....

Less hassle than with Argos too.

Been looking at the different action cams has anyone had any experience with the MUVI™ K-SERIES K2 (£180) or MUVI™ K-SERIES K2NPNG (£240) in comparison to the GoPro ones?

you might want to consider this deal that was posted a while back, i got mine in the post last week and I really am very impressed. Loads of reviews for it on youtube as well. I know you can't beat the real McCoy but this comes very close to doing just that.

Temped, got a couple of Contour cameras for mounting on the side of my helmet, but this would be good for using with a chest mount... hmmm.

funnily, you get more attachment choices then the GoPro. Very impressive packaging and great build quality, only negatives rubbish manual and the firmware could be better (apparently there is a an upadate available but I always get jittery where FW is concerned)

Cold. Cheaper elsewhere! Currently listed on this site!

I don't understand. Do you have to work out the correct angle when you are filming and wait until you get on the app/PC to see what you've filmed unless you pay £80 for an LCD screen? Please help I am confused!

There is a free gopro app that you can get for your phone. It will connect via wifi to the gopro so you can set your angle using the preview feed (although there is about a 1 - 2 second lag). You can also use the app to change the camera settings (video mode / burst mode etc).
Also, setting on wide mode gives a fish eye view, so it's fairly easy to guess the angle anyway.

get the Hero3+ Black from Go Outdoors with a a price-match for £233 :-)

thanks a lot man. Will get this at Christmas but the SJ4000 looks amazing for £55 with built in display, waterproof, 1080p and lacking only on Wi Fi (which is unnecessary with display) and 60fps. Everybody should watch TechMoans review and motorbiking POV, great cheap alternative
