Was the £99 one the other week not good enough to bore people with your footage from?

It's a good camera but until they can improve the battery life I don't think it's worth half that much.

Also just tried the gopro session hero 5 that's normally 249 and typed in gopro20 and it took 20 quid off the price so that goes to 229

you can get nearly 2 hours recording from 1 charge it isn't that difficult to buy either extra batteries or a power pack

I just used mine at 1080p resolution and after 30 minutes I was at 40 percent. I don't think it would get anywhere near 2 hours. I did buy a second battery on sale at Argos though.

First thing anyone who buys this should do is download the latest update as without it the battery will drain overnight even if the camera is off.

Cold because Sainsburys are selling off boxes of Christmas crackers for £2.

You could buy this to record the joy on your face for saving all that money on crackers and show it to your bored friends. Or save even more and record it on your phone.

Any idea how long this deal is on for?

shame the underwater case is now an extra :( I know it goes to 10m without but that is no good for Diving.

How good are these in low light or for capturing family moments over a camcorder? Distortion an issue with faces?

This is my second one. The first was totally hopeless holding a charge. The replacement is keeping charge well but having spoken to a few people with the GP4 the battery life I'm getting seems to be the average. Maybe you just have an extra special unit.

Not good in low light or indoors unfortunately. The fisheye effect is quite hard to get rid of unless you have specialist software as the bundled GP app isn't great at straightening out videos.

The GP5 is great in daylight though.
