I'd stick to Kenwood or Kitchen Aid.

You'll really struggle to find parts/accessories for this if it breaks.

Is not made by one of the major brands? and re badged?

There's a reason Kenwood Chefs from all the way back to the mid-70s (901 models) still command a high market value: they just refuse to die. And when they hiccough, you just rip out a part and replace it.

I'd put money on a second hand £50 80s 901 model outliving this "professional" mixer.

me too, get a kenwood. The rrp is a farce anyway, you have been able to get these all year on Amazon at the same price. PS I have a 901 Kenwood still very much alive and kicking, a design classic

Going to buy a Gordon Ramsay Professional Food Mixer. Appeals to me not just its stunning to looks at, but the price is over £200 less than Kenwood Kmix or Kitchenaid. It also, from reviews, will last me a good few years, and like a good TV or other modern technology gismo they are always upgrading them, so in the future if it has a part that breaks then i'll just buy the latest one!

I have one of these mixers they are as good as a kitchen aid but the downfall is like someone on here said you can't get the parts for this as they have discontinued them and a result in this is that my balloon whisk has broken and can't get a replacement I can still use the mixer but not for making buttercream and other things.
