Who is voting this cold and why?

Some savings over a few more in the Merell range:

Reason for coldness. Sports Direct, not so much the actual product is my guess...

Great deal. Heat added. Any deal for Merrell seems to go cold recently, not sure why.
#4
I'm unsure, maybe because of sports direct and the way they wreck every brand....

Why cold people? seems a good price for this shoe

Distrust I suspect, sports direct sell a lot of stuff they make themselves and badge with whatever name they think will sell. Not saying these are, I'm not aware they've licensed the merrel name, but that coupled with a difficult returns process mean I'd want to see them first.

Some merrells are better than others. Some are very good, some have very flexible soles and are just like cheap trainers.

Need a new pair of Gore-Tex trainers, but really reluctant to buy shoes that might not fit from Sports Direct...

Their returns policy is unclear on the website.
I know if I buy in-store they'll offer me a credit note, not a refund.
If I order on-line for home delivery then the law says I have 14 days to tell them I'm returning (and another 14 days to return) and then they'll have to refund me the purchase price AND P&P (but I'll have to pay to return them).

So... if I order online for home delivery - what's the chances of me being able to return to store and get both the purchase price AND P&P back?

does anyone else sell these ? Are there any satisfied customers apart from Chinese makers? On face value look good but looks can be deceptive!

Good shoe and a good price but it's a bit of a put off that they charge £5 delivery even for c&c...

Was tempted, I just don't get on with SD! Popped in today on the off chance they had them in store, no such luck. A bit reassuring though they only had 2 pairs of merrell and 3 salomon, if they were rebadging their own crap as them they'd have had loads of different styles like they do on karrimor.

Sports Direct own the Karrimor brand which is why they can stick it on any cheap crap they like.
They don't own the Merrell brand which is why these Merrell shoes are made by Merrell.

you won't get the P&P back unless there is a fault (as is normal)

If anyone is tempted to buy these i would recommend to go up one whole size.I found 9 (normal for me) impossible to get on, 9 1/2 still tight with 10 being spot on.

If you bought online and are returning by post you can insist on a refund of the price you paid and the delivery charge. You can't demand a refund of the return postage.

No idea if Sports Direct will accept returns to store for items bought online - they're not obliged to and SD's policy is usually to do the legal minimum.

If you buy in-store you're not entitled to a refund if you change your mind - SD will give a credit note or an exchange.

Has anybody bought anything online from Sports Direct and then returned them to a store?
How did you get on - did they refund you? Did they refund the postage as well?

I'd like a pair of these at this price - if they fit!
My local SD has no Merrell shoes in stock so I can't try them on.

If you've bought something online the law says that you have 14 days from the date of delivery to cancel the order (and 28 days to return the item). The seller is legally obliged to refund you the purchase price AND delivery charge. But they're not obliged to refund your return postage costs.
