Great price! - love the new single and the video with Bruce Willis in it!

Does anyone know what quality of amazon mp3s are like compared with itunes?

You can listen to the album in full now if you want - there is a streaming feed on the Guardian website:

EDIT: I'm liking the album - streaming it through PS3 to my Hi-Fi now - sounds great

From what I've heard it's good but it's not as good as Demon Days.
#16
Just listened to the whole thing and it's really underwhelming..
#17
been listening to this streaming on npr.org all last week, takes a good few listens to get in to, can sound a bit of a mess to begin with but after a while the various melodies sink in - only track I'm yet to fully get in to is 'Sweepstakes'.

Hot at this price and even hotter if you havent used your AMAZONTC £1 off (I have sadly)

I bought this morning and can confirm the mp3s are VBR ranging from 217kbps - 282kbps. I was going to buy the CD for around £9 but for £3.99 I'll settle for the mp3s

never paid to download an mp3, never will do

liking it so far, streaming it on napster, pretty chilled, melancholy hill is my sort of tune!

Just ordered the album and then saw this post... about to panic but then realised its MP3 only.

Just used my credit from Tesco after the BF2 screw up to get the CD for the same price as this :D Happy days!

agreed 100% - ok'ish background muzak I guess.

Damon can churn this stuff out in his sleep.

Terrible album

Damn ordered it thinking it'd be pretty good, bearing in mind its taken ages. First 6 songs so far have been quite wishy washy..
#27
Nice one - almost paid £8 for this, steal @ £4!! :-D
#28
Still availiable at this price!

Played this album 3 times in full yesterday, by the 3rd play I was beginning to like a fair few of the tracks and they were beginning to reveal themselves(as all Gorillaz album's sound like a montage of 8-bit videogame soundeffects on first hearing).

I'm expecting this to be a firm favourite come the weekend. Early favourites being Rhinestone Eyes, Glitter Freeze, and the brilliant 'On Melancholy Hill'. Get on it, now.
