What he said. Better product - better options - the paid for service has more functionality too last time I checked.

No offence intended! I think it's great that people come along and post. I jsut wanted to explain why I'd voted cold - rather than vote cold and not explain - because there is an excellent free alternative.

It's great that you started this thread cos now people have heard of both your offering and logmein!

My mum would be lost without logmein. I have to visit her pc weekly for repairs lol

chalk another up for logmein, though my stupid work have decided to get some freakin heavy duty firewall going and now it wont work :(
#16
Never tried logmein. We use GoToMyPC in work though to connect to clients machines. Suppose i could set this up on my home PC and connect to it from work on a slow day, but unfortunately i don't seem to be getting many of these lately :giggle:

why not try the free microsoft foldershare? i know people might dislike microsoft but it's a big company and foldershare works really well - and it's free
#20
just a quick question about logmein.
if i am at work and my wife is at home on the pc and i go onto logmein will she be able to see me on it?
i could have some serious fun if she cant
#21
yeah it comes up with a message (on a mac it does anyway)
#22
i might give it a go and see if i can scare the cr*p out of her
#23
Make sure she's sitting on some plastic sheets then!
