Pre-charged, stay charged NiMH rechargeables. Same technology as all the other Eneloops, HyBrios etc and perform just as well.

Normally this type of battery costs more than this for just four

In store only, and store stock may vary

Sorry, was too lazy to type.

Could anyone confirm the capacity of those batteries, please?

All of the AA batteries from any of the the makers using this technology are 2100mAH nominal and about 2000 typical

Got some of these, been using them for several months in my Pentax DSLR. Truly excellent. As good as Eneloops (as op says) and vastly better than (nominally higher rated) 'ordinary' NiMHs.

Superb value at effectively 83p each - should get really hot!

I'm using some of these, and they're very good - huge improvement on the old type, and hold their charge almost as well as non-rechargeables.

Useful review of several batteries, including these, here:

b&m also have lower capacity (800ma iirc) stay charged for £1.99 for 4. not much use for cameras and flashes etc but fine for remote controls and the kids toys. (reclaimed my decent batteries by replacing with these)

I tried these but find Eneloops better for digital cameras as they keep a higher voltage reading.

Use this brand all the time.
This price beats Ebay.

I use this charger for them

Aren't the new Eneloops a better deal keeping 75% of their charge for 3 years?
#11
Do they have AAA's as well?

What's the best price online? No B&M near me.

(please)

In practice, no - just think how long it would take to get value out of them if you really only charged them every three years.
#14
They also sell the charger for these including two batteries for £3.99.

was just about to order a load of these online....hopefully they'll have stock in tomorrow.

Presumably whoever mentioned 800mah ones, those will be AAA's not AAs
#16
bah none left at both sunderland branches I was at.

Surprisingly the 800mah ones were AAs rather than AAAs that I previously thought.

Tried Lincoln and Nottingham Ladybay a couple of days ago - no sign of the deal : (
