Pretty good deal, was looking around for some new rechargeable that will hold their charge, these apparently hold 85% after 12months.

These are 4* 2100mah batteries but come with 2 free so in my opinion that's a bargain, no special charger needed either, your regular NiHM will work just fine.

Ideal for use in your Xbox controller, Wiimote and digital camera!

Firstly those are cheap 7dayshop rubbish - which I know from experience. Secondly the GP batteries are the Low Self Discharge ones.

And finally this is a cold deal - I got some Duracell ones (also LSD - 4pk) for £3 from B&M.

Unbranded rubbish? No thanks.

GP is a good brand.

Oh and 7dayshop do Duracell ones (also LSD) for £5.99 which is a way better deal! Delivered!

I read on here that GP ReCyko were rebadged eneloops. They are very good, I prefer them to Uniross hybrio's.

Nope I was talking about GP Reyko. I didn't realise Spies was the op, and thought he/she was saying the GP were rubbish. On learning my mistake, I edited my post.

I've got these GP's and also Eneloops and for my purpose which is a digital Camera the Eneloops are much much better than the GP's, the Eneloops seem to hold onto the voltage for longer. I've also purchased some 7 dayshop low discharge ones and will be testing them soon.

The 7dayshop ones (non LSD) are not very good (hopeless) for very quick charging i.e. 15 mins - I also find them to have a high discharge rate (non LSD). On this basis, whilst the batteries are relatively cheap, I will resist them even at £3.99.

I also don't advise charging any LSD with a 15 min charger (in my experience), infact, I would only ever use energisers in a 15 min charger - they charge to about 1.35a, whereas a good 3hr charger will give me 1.46a. The 7dayshop 8 battery charger at around £11 works well for me.

Whichever way you look at it these are overpriced, surely the op is not suggesting that these are worth more than duracell / uniross?

the 7day shop are low discharge too, its probably the exact same battery LOl

Oh yeah sorry didn't realise the green ones were LSD! Worth a test at £3.99 me thinks!

I'll be looking forward to that test! I've got some Duracell ones which I've been told are rebranded eneloops, and they are quite good so I'm happy.

I'll stick the 7Dayshop LSD versions in the digital Camera as soon as the Eneloops run out......but they just seem to last and last!.

Better, but the Good2 Go ones:
http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_3&products_id=107341 @3.99 (or less dependent on number of sets bought)
are still the best value, tried by many posters on threads on here.

Why?
Brands rarely offer any great advantage, it's just a word!
