Been after one of these for ages and this is the cheapest I have seen. Nikkai GPS Travel Tracker, product code A21HT. It's actually a Mobile Action i-gotU GT-100, best price elsewhere £35. Picked one up in the clearance section at Maplin in Aintree (Liverpool) - not found on the website so presumably discontinued and may be difficult to find.

Key features:

* Small design with advanced power-saving function
* Auto-map your photos with GPS location information
* Compatible with all digital cameras and camera phones, coolest GPS tracking gadget for your journey
* Organize and present your journey in three-dimensional Google Maps and Google Earth
* Create and share your live travel blog on-line with all your friends quick and easy
* 3D Virtual Reality Travel Blogs on @trip are viewable on Windows and Mac computers
* Share your own @trip journal or your favorite trips with your social networks on Facebook, MySpace, Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon, Google Bookmarks and Yahoo Bookmarks....etc.
* Export into multiple file formats (GPX, MHT or KMZ)
* Automatically upload photos to popular web album like Picasa and Flickr
* Water-resist hardware design, suitable for rainy days, skiing, water sports
* Compatible to third party GPS navigation software, can be used as Bluetooth GPS Receiver for your PDA or mobile phone

I've been looking for something like this. Does it work with iPhoto 09?
or trackme does something similar (no sync with photos) for pocketpc devices - freebie

Thats the newer version in your link alot more money - the OP said his was from the bargain bucket , after some searching online it looks like a nice deal

£35 at Pixmania

Review for the next model up:
main difference between the new one on Maplins and the OP's one is slightly longer battery life.

more reviews and how to use guides:

None in Sheffield or Leeds but reserved the display model in Barnsley. Thanks!

I have used Trackme with my pocket PC and it is great. Really neat application. I want to try this travel tracker to see if I can geo-tag photos.

H&R to the OP.

Have just got home with mine, will test it out later today and post back :)

Still one left in display cabinet as you go in the door @ Cannock
if youve got a phone with gps that runs symbian or winmobile, you can do this for free just by using the software on

and for those who run linux, you can export the gpx file and then process it with gpscorrelate -
