Interesting thanks, I currently have a SilverCross 3D system for my son, he's now 2yrs old but it serves us well and still performs fantastically, however my wife is expecting our 2nd child and complains that it is too heavy to control. But we must admit, its built for comfort, durability and lastability. We were looking at this offer on the Graco and my thoughts were to find a local dealer and try it out. Thanks:thumbsup:

We had this Graco system and it's okay but a little cheap. After 18 months it creaked and groaned and looks a bit shabby.

We swapped to the Phil and Teds and never looked back, the P&T is much better for two kids of different ages, you can even put a baby in a cocoon (in a lie down postion) and the bigger child on top, then as the smaller one grows you put the bigger one in the front and the smaller in rear (you really need to see it). It has the same footprint as a single pushchair and can be taken in village shops (which are very narrow) without issue. Very easy to move about and inflatable tyres take make rides alot smoother. Even though it's £300 you will get your monies worth and be able sell it for a decent price.

We sold the Graco down the boot fair a few months ago for a fiver but the P&T is still looking good at almost 2 yrs old.

I agree get a phil and teds or a Jane Powertwin for 2 children different ages. My powertwin is 18 months old now, used every day and still looks good and is so easy to push. The resale value of both these prams is great. As I have used both I would say the advantage of the powertwin is the car seat can fit on so your new baby will face you and it folds down easily and can fit in our small car boot (with the wheels off) the Phil and Teds has a higher handle bar and you can continue to use with just one child. I have used a graco double, a safety first and a side by side double and wasted my money on them all as they were all heavy to push and the side by side to wide.

Sorry for the long story.;-)
