A week ago i ordered an unlocked blue s3 from here for £369. Delivered super fast in A1 mint condition. To obtain warranty information I entered the phone serial number at this site CLICK HERE and it informed me that it was produced in July 2012 and the samsung guarantee expires on 30 September 2014. I then registered the serial on the official samsung website with no problems.

Just to make sure, i telephoned Samsung customer service to check the warranty conditions on refurbs. If you need a repair outside the smartfone warranty, then this is what they told me.

      1) Register the your phone with them asap (either on-line or by telephone).
      2) If you think you need a repair then phone them to discuss. Then arrange to either post or carry in to repair depot.
      3) If the phone's serial is on their database, then getting a repair under warranty will not be a problem.
TWO EXCEPTIONS a) they discover signs of an unauthorised previous repair by a third party, and b) the phone is originally from a non-uk source - but i guess that will become apparent when you try and register it.

Hope that helps somebody. Buying a refurb from a carefully selected supplier is a good way of saving some cash.

I think it should be noted in title as a 'graded' phone... Even at this decent price.

I should point out that the stock changes every day, for those thinking that's all they have. Made that mistake myself and changed over for a Pebble Blue one.

Unfortunately, the Grade A Blue had a deep scratch on the screen, so I'm waiting on a replacement. The Grade B White I received originally had a few "dents" around the silver surround.

They insist their Grade A should be pristine however, and it's free returns via Special Delivery, so can't really grumble too much.

My 'Grade A' in white will arrive tomorrow. Will update on condition.

UPDATE: My White 16GB S3 Arrived yesterday. Anyone who didn't receive theirs in perfect condition is unlucky. If someone told me this was brand new, I would believe them. Not a single mark on any part of the phone, absolutely perffect. Only downside of buying from Smartfonestore is that I only recieved a usb cable to charge my SIII. Apart from that, you can't go wrong for the price.

Price has dropped by a tenner on all grades and networks. So the unlocked ones are now £359, those on a network are £349.

OP could do with being updated IMO, because this is a hot deal. :)

I got my Grade A blue today and I'm much happier. Absolutely immaculate. Duly put in a tough case and screen protector (as I do with all my phones).

The lack of AC adapter is a bit of a pain, but I got a good one here (even more useful as it has different Euro plug attachments): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120918389753 Nice long cable too. OOS at the moment though.

      Maybe one of these? http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Day-2-Day-Accessories/Main-Charger-/_i.html?_nkw=genuine+micro+usb&_sop=2&_fsub=2658870010&_sc=1&_sid=994612780

(From experience, I found third party standalone MicroUSB cables are very flakey and only last a few months).

Also, did anyone find that they couldn't get the camera app Vignette to work on the S3?

the s3 doesn't come with an ordinary charger anyway, you get a usb cable and plug with a usb port on it. These can be picked up really cheaply, sainsbury's were recently clearing their lines for 50p, could still be worth a look, not a hugely popular item. They were still marked up at £1.50/£2, but scanning for 50p for anybody else who also needs one

For me, its more the lack of the 2 year manufacturers warranty. Apparently, from another post, someone was saying that samsung wont accept a graded handset for repair, even with a receipt. It needs to be brand new, from a seller in the EU. Not 100% though, so if anyone can shed some light on this, i'd be very grateful.

So plugging the USB into the USB mains adapter it chargers fast? I hope to god it does because this is taking forever to charge from my PC.

PC usb is restricted to a lower power output, so mains charger will be faster, assuming its a higher rated mains charger
