That may be true, but do you have to visit EVERY GT5 thread to tell everyone?

Without a doubt the best racing sim this gen, also one of my most played games this gen

Fantastic game. Proper racing game, not that arcade crap Forza.

Driving games fall into two categories. Proper sims like GT5, and fun games like Burnout Paradise.

When I want to crash, I play Burnout Paradise.
The idea of GT5 is NOT to crash.

Gt5 is crap, it's way too easy and the AI have no intelligence!

Thanks OP, never got this first time around, then heard they were doing a huge update so waited a bit longer....then when that came out heard they were going to be doing an updated version in Japan only. So I waited again in hope that it would get released over here....and it did!

Will add it to the ever growing pile of unplayed games

Nicely done sir! - I was going to pre-order from Tesco for £16.97 with 8% quidco but this is MUCH better.

I totally missed out on GT5 as my PS3 died before its release so this version with all the content was a no brainer at £19.99 rrp.

    £13.59? Brilliant!

Imagine my delight having missed out on GT5, never mind the extras!

Also found out earlier that my Logitech PS2 wheel is compatible with GT5, really can't wait to play this.

Might buy it just for the comp & the extra car, even though I already have it & all the DLC...

Orrrr I might get this & another ps3 & have a dedicated racing setup with the T500rs & it's associated bits n bobs (already have it)

    Guhhh GT5 nerd.

Gran Turismo 5: Academy Edition will be released on the 26th of September, featuring additional cars and courses.

The edition, intended as a celebration of the four years of collaboration with Nissan on the GT Academy Programme, will cost a cool £19.99 (€29.99). It will feature the game plus the following extras, previously available from the PlayStation store.

Complete Pack (Car Pack, Course Pack, Special Paint Pack, Racing Gear Pack)

    anyone had theirs yet??
  39. bertie_uk's avatar
    Mine arrived yesterday

There appears to be some confusion with the PSN codes for the DLC, etc. Some copies have gone out with the Nissan Championship code on the DLC sheet, and vice-versa.

But either way, only one code will work (for now) as the Nissan Championship isn't open yet - runs from 1st - 31st Jan 2013
