Also, if the deal is the same as when I worked at Blockbuster a couple of years ago, Blockbuster offer a 6 month gurantee with preowned games...

Good game but graphically (and immersion wise) vastly overshadowed by other games like Grid.

I agree about GRID but really buying this to get some practice in GT for when the new game comes out. GT5 will be more simulation less arcade and will be much bigger in scope so will be a must have for all driving game fans... Would buy GRID 2 as well though if one was released

Hehe yeah I also have a Driving Force GT Logitech Steering Wheel which set me back £70 on Sale from the Logitech website when they were doing that 40% Offer which was a bargain when it was first released here in the UK lol,

Completely disagree with you on that one. GRID's a brilliant Racing Game it's more suited to players who just like to turn on the games and have a great race even my little nephew could play it easily but GT5 Prologue is more like a Sim Racing Game suited to people that play sim racing titles like me requires more skill than the average player who wants a Need For Speed titled race

Come on, graphically GT5 is nothing compared to Grid, you can't even look around the car, and don't get me started on damage... how realistic is it to hit a wall at 100mph and just bounce off??

Yeah I thought it was lacking even compared to PGR4 and Motorstorm.

.... And Forza 3 is coming out this year (rumour).

Sony need to get GT5 out this year before it starts to look dated.

Cant speak for PGR and and Forza, but cant really be compared to Motorstorm as that is essentially a rally game all be it a very pretty one... My arguement would be that this is considerally cheaper than the most recent MS and GRID... The graphics are amazing, although destructable cars would be good... GRID is amazing from that aspect, but it is still a little arcady and therefore I think it is worth buying Motorstorm, Grid, NFS series and GT Prologue as they all offer different experiences and different types of gameplay...

A bit of a separate issue but does anyone know if the original PS2 GT4 (Logitech) steering wheel works with the PS3? I have one boxed as new stashed away somewhere in the garage and before I go digging it out I'd like to know.....

PS - It'd be the the 'Driving Force Pro' one with the GT badge in the middle of the wheel.

Hi mate, I think it should work with PS3 with a PS2 - PS3 controller adapter, all of the buttond replicate the PS2 controller buttons so its should work, although I would imagine that the buttins are customisable on that wheel? If so I would think if it doesnt work as soon as you plug it in it should be able to be customised to work...

Worth a try is all I say!!
