This is the cheapest price available to buy online

I have searched for the cheapest price available And this is the cheapest

Sonys flagship racing simulation makes its way to the PSP with the same photorealistic visuals and robust car line-up. Since its first appearance on the original PlayStation, Gran Turismo has been a name synonymous with Sonys gaming systems. Its been a long wait, but the racing game has finally made its way to handhelds, managing to maintain the same attention to detail and realism its known for. Developed by Polyphony Digital, the creators of the console Gran Turismos, this PSP version makes no concessions for its new handheld home, providing the same crisp visuals and authentic handling. Over 800 vehicles are on offer in Gran Turismo, with a total of 45,000 paint variations, from favourite manufacturers including Nissan, Audi and Ferrari. More than 30 tracks from across the globe are also included, some based on real circuits and others on favourites from older Gran Turismo titles. Gran Turismo is also the first title in the series to offer the ability to trade vehicles with other PSP owners via a local wireless connection. Gran Turismo is the same authentic racing simulation fans have loved since the PlayStation era, with the same sense of immersion and detail on hand.

* 800 cars with 4,500 colour variations
* 35 courses and 60 layouts
* Ultra-smooth, ultra-realistic action rendered at 60 frames per second
* Multiplayer mode featuring 4 players via ad-hoc mode
* A variety of gameplay modes

The Play.com Exclusive Collector's Edition may be a better "deal" albeit slightly more expensive at £19.99.

That said, the game itself did not enjoy a warm reception from fans & critics.

I contributed to a previous thread where a review was posted by another HotUKDeals rmember, I'll see if I can find it.

Thanks i thought they had stopped selling that version,

The good thing about gt psp was really about collecting the cars and transferring them over to Gran turismo 5

But you can now download those cars via the USA PSN , Given not everyone will have access to the USA PSN, I would think that the EU PSN will get this DLC also which is free

For the extras on the collectors gt psp would good, if you want that version.

Yes, the Collector's Edition was Limited (to 5,000 copies in the UK), but I don't think it sold very well. I haven't found the HotUKDeals thread yet, but I think the review I was going to quote was at IGN.com (or it could have been GameSpot.com). Either way, it wasn't very favourable.

Yesterday's European Store update included this item, by the way...

"Gran Turismo – Special Vehicles Pack (free) Rating: PEGI 3"

Is that the one you were referring to from the US 'Store?

I think the collectors version was a bit expensive, ( Wish i didn't buy the heavy rain theme last week, didn't know Ac 2 DLC was coming :x )

Yes that's the one :thumbsup:

I try to keep "the community" (elsewhere) updated on upcoming 'Store items.

Perhaps I should start a similar thread here :)

I won't be buying the PS3 variant of "Gran Turismo", as I don't like what the franchise has turned into. It is far too "serious" for me now. If I want to experience near-true-to-life racing I'll just go out of my door & get in my own car.

"Gran Turismo 5 Prologue" bored me :(

I played "Project Gotham Racing 4" [Xbox 360] for the first time yesterday; I'm liking that. Much more my style... arcade-like but with a decent check on reality. I still have "Need for Speed: SHIFT" [PS3] & "Forza MotorSport 3" [Xbox 360] sealed & ready to play too. Not enough time to do so though :(

Plus I never really got to spend anywhere near the amount of time I wanted to with "Race Driver: GRID". I believe the next "Need for Speed" title was demonstrated by Criterion Games earlier this week... so that may not be far away. "Burnout Paradise" took a lot of my gaming hours for many months, so I'm looking forward to what the new development team will make of that series.

"Blur" & "Split/Second" I have a keen eye on... and I'm also enjoying "ModNation Racers" (Beta) [although for differing reasons].

"Gran Turismo 5" wouldn't get a look in even if I did buy it!

(Damn! I got the Collector's Edition of "MotorStorm Arctic Edge" [PSP] for Christmas. That's still sealed too. Must go... there's some gaming to be done...)

Fanpagessssssss stop what your playing and open Forza 3 :thumbsup: this deserves a good look at and you shouldn't be dissapointed

I thought Need for speed shift was pretty good, if you turn all ai options of it is interesting to play.

Can anyone actually say GT psp is a worth while purchase if your a racing fan ?
