Great price. I understand it's a must have PSP game and £5 cheaper than anywhere else.

Maybe not that much of a must have-

Still, £9.99 isn't bad.

Reviews were a bit harsh on this because there was no Gran Turismo or online mode. They had a point, but because of that they failed to acknowledge that the actual driving is excellent. I find it to be a very satisfying single player game when I'm fed up with Halo or Battlefield. For just under a tenner it's very good value. I mean c'mon, how many full priced games have even half the number of cars this PSP game has? Or the number of tracks? None

Am I right in thinking that this won't run under custom firmware?

Wow. The screenshot in that review makes it looks like Virtua Racing on the MegaDrive. And not in a good way.

What are you on about?

My PSP has CFW and plays genuine games from their UMD Discs

I am well aware that PSPs running CFW can play UMDs, but thanks for pointing out the blindingly obvious in as patronising a tone as possible.

So, what am I on about? I'm on about the fact that some UMDs require the latest official Sony FW in order to run - this was the case with Gran Turismo (Sony FW v6.00) when released. Given your condescending tone, I'm surprised you weren't aware of this extremely well-known factoid already.

Still, thanks for such a useful contribution.

Which version of the official System Software does your Custom Firmware emulate?

You will need at least version 6.0 (available from 10 September 2009) of Sony's System Software (or Custom Firmware that emulates this version) to use this Universal Media Disc-based product.
