Or GTA4 & Bully (360) which ive ordered!
thanks!

Looks like a good deal - about £8 back in Quidco and Reward Points, making an effective price of £52 or thereabouts. You could always stick the unwanted (?) game on fleabay too. Cheers OP

I wouldn't so much call this a hot deal as a bleeding cheek.

They are now forcing you to buy GTA in a bundle - whatever next. Fair enough if you want to buy bully or DMC but really this is just cheeky.

Is that supposed to be sarcasm?

In what way are they forcing you to buy GTA in a bundle? The choice is yours - if you just want the game you can buy it anywhere on it's own. If you were going to get Bully or DMC4 anyway then you have the option of getting it in a bundle with GTA and saves you some cash as well.
#5
Or reserve one in argos tofay and not get a second game :)

Still a good deal if you want both though!

DMC4 is now £24.98 from that deal.

My math makes that £62.97 :-D .

Always click the links on old deals to check if there's been a price change.

Not sarcasm. The UKs biggest games retailer is forcing you to buy a bundle if you want it from them. If you see nothing wrong with that then good for you.

I think this is good for PS3.

A very good point. I wonder if Gamestation is also running the same 'deal', seeing as it is now owned by Game?

Oh the joys of a high street monopoly...looks like I'll wait a few weeks and get my copy from an online retailer. Or not bother at all...

Especially as I may be one of the few people that doesn't see the big deal with this series of games and will only be buying out of curiosity !

(I have all 3 previous games, but have never bothered to make any real progress through the game with any of them - I start playing, explore a bit, get sidetracked, get a bit bored and never really have the motivation to continue through the game's missions.

Its not that I'm a rubbish player and can't complete games; I've completed many, many games over the years, on the PC and all manner of other computers and consoles. I've just never been able to get into this series to the degree that others have - I mentioned this to mates the other day, who looked at me like I'd grown a second head..! Is it just me, or are there other people out there who feel the same?)

Sorry about going off-topic there, I'm just curious !

Agreed - the best individual online prices for DMC4 and GTA4 are both @ Shopto -

Shopto price - DMC is £23.99 and GTA is £36.99 - total of £60.98 - £58.54 after Quidco.

GAME price - DMC + GTA are £59.98 - £51.88 after Quidco and reward points

Saving of £6.66, plus the fact that GAME actually have GTA in stock :whistling: = Hot Deal :)

Cheers OP

Its not just you mate - I have played GTA, GTA2, GTA3 and San Andreas, and have never managed to put in more than about 5 or 6 hours before becoming bored - found the mission structure clunky and don't see the appeal of taking down the whole of the SFPD with a rocket launcher and an uzi.............fancy picking this up though, just out of curiosity, as you say, to see what the fuss is about - my copy will probably be on eBay in a weeks time...........;-)

Thank god its not just me ! I was beginning to think I was somehow deficient in something or the other !

:-D

Had to vote cold, GAME clearly have GTA4 in stock but are only selling it as a bundle.

If people buy into this "deal" they will keep doing things like this in the future.

I think if we are deficient in anything, it is probably sociopathic tendencies ;-)

I got in a few months ago with SoftUK, they are out of stock, only have the normal version for £39.99 now. Some others managed to get the SE at that price from Amazon 11 months ago.

If anyone is kind enough to tell me which is the cheapest retailer for the PS3 version, that'd be cool.

Preferably somewhere i can walk into tonight (cnt be bothered ordering online) - i want it now now now.

I am a student, so if there's a retailer that offers Studey discounts, let me know.

probably instore @ Asda - someone said £37 for the PS3, £35 for the 360?
banned#24
Well im not right sure if it is actually £37 in Asda.

Cheapest i can see is HMV for £39.99 with maybe a 10% student discount.

But seems like plenty of shops are sold out of the PS3 copy already.

10% isn't bad off that price, I would get it in HMV if you can

A very good point. I wonder if Gamestation is also running the same 'deal', seeing as it is now owned by Game?

Wow, I never realised Game bought out Gamestation, now it makes a lot more sense as to why Gamestations prices are complete and utter shi*e compared to what they used to be when they started out. Game = PC World for consoles and games, if you bend over often enough to deals like this they will continue to bum you....hard! Voted cold.

this is a good price for the advertised pack
the fact its not the single gta game is irrelevant as noones posted this is 'GTA FOR 59.88 THIS IS GREAT,also u get a free game!'
its not a single price so its not a cold single price
its a good twin price so its a hot twin price
the fact they only sell in a pack means its a retailer issue which doesn't affect if the deal as advertised is hot or not.

This is only a good deal if you actually pay full whack for your games. Like parents who actually pay £50 for a game for their kids...simply because they dont know any better.

Pretty much everyone here knows they can pickup GTA for a maximum of £40 and Devil May Cry somewhere between £20-£25.

The only redeeming point of the deal is the 11% Quidco which will save you a couple of quids...

Actually best deal around, Cheapest price for GTA at the mo is around £37(if you can find it) so your paying £23 for devil may cry which is a new release and you can sell for around £20 if you dont want. On top of that you get £6.60 quidco and £1.50 game points. making this a very good deal.

Erm....you can buy it seperately from GAME too - its £39.99...........:whistling:

If I went into the Game store and tried to buy this rather than online, would they sell it for £59.98 too ?

Checked in store, and they wouldnt match it.
