grabbed this for thirty off Tesco last November because I, unlike everyone else, Own a time machine!

xbox users won't have to switch discs, one disc has the data install and the other one will be what will always be in the cd tray.

never caused an issue on other games....which have still looked and played better on a 360. Its a non-issue tbh.

Though I cba with disk changes so ordered on PS3 (if PC gets announced then thats getting cancelled...if I remember where the hell I ordered it from!?)

I don't understand the people saying they'll wait for a next-gen version. Rockstar have already said they have zero plans to port it and they aren't usually ones to go back on their word. Plus like some people have already mentioned the install bases will be tiny for next-gen consoles. They won't sell anywhere near enough copies to justify porting them over.

The game itself looks pretty sexy on current-gen consoles anyway. What benefits would a next-gen version really offer? Slightly shinier graphics and maybe a more consistent frame-rate? Are those things really worth holding out for? A next-gen version wouldn't be out for around 6-12 months anyway, so I'd much rather play it now and enjoy the crap out of it than wait for something that most likely won't materialise.

Releasing expansion packs on systems with an already solid install base is very different to porting over a massive game such as GTAV onto systems with a tiny install base, a large proportion of whom would have already bought the game on the PS3/360.

Na I doubt it, they deliver to the address you put down on the checkout page. Tesco are usually good with delivering on release date, of course, depends on the courier they use.

What you could do is order now for £35, go Tesco midnight release, buy it there for however much, play it all night, when the tesco direct order arrives take it back to tesco for the refund of the price you paid for the midnight release. You get it for £35 and midnight release.

I know! Trailer blew me away. I can see this game holding its value for quite a while after release.

The trailer made me want to pre-order. Unfortunately I'll be moving in September, just have to have it posted to the address a friend who doesn't have a ps3. GTA 5 and metal gear solid 5 could possibly be the best games of the generation.

Xbox 360 version has two discs but confirmed by Rockstar themselves NO DISC SWAPPING, install disc and play disc.

How is that a problem? You only use them to install the game, after that the game will only ask for one disc.

If it runs anything like GTA 4, it will be a small trade-off for avoiding the performance issues.

Considering that the recent trailer was (alegedly) running on PS3 hardware, I might just have to bite the bullet and stop holding out for a PS4 or PC version to be announced...

Shame that Tesco take the money straight away though, as I'm still kind of on the fence...
