Good game. I enjoyed playing it on holiday.
Think it also gets good reviews.
Still think DS games should be much cheaper.

How much cheaper can you get!? I'm all for free games, but most do still cost money to make!

Absolutely brilliant game, and at £9 that's ridiculously good value!

There are a lot of good Xbox & PS3 games that have been out for a while that are at the £10 mark now.
These cost many times more to develop than DS and Wii games. Nintendo do spend a fortune on marketing though, which adds to the cost.

Transformers 2 cost an awful lot more than The Hangover to make, but I still pay the same price at the cinema!

I do however see what you mean with most DS/Wii games being cheap tat that's turned out in no time at all for next to no cost, but Chinatown Wars is anything but that. Really really well made, no corners cut. The shame seems to be that the game turned out to be a bit of a flop financially as they didn't sell as many as they were hoping, hence the permanently reduced price. Some would blame piracy, but who knows?

Still, as stated, £9 for Chinatown Wars is incredibly good value for an incredibly good game.

Due to the ease of piracy on the DS I guess they lose much more than MS and Sony hence have to make up the loss with the few genuine buyers :whistling:

Cartman must have finished the game and traded it in then.

Ordered this morning, with free del, apparently mine has been dispatched already!

Great price....apparently this was troublesome to get the pirated copies working....but not impossible.
#14
Brilliant game, amazing how the managed to cram the spirit of the GTA series down on to the DS despite its apparent limitations

You wouldn't pay to have someone rip your eyes out with a spoon so why would you pay to see Transformers 2?
