You'd make it a 360 exclusive if you were paid £50m for an extension using the same engine etc as the original

Awesome game, got mine today. Definitely recommend it. The Ballad of Gay Tony is better than the Loast and Damned tho.
#9
Is it simply an add on of missions or are there new vehicles/ maps etc?? I was going to get this but my 360s on "holiday" in Germany at the mo so no point :p

Its basically more missions added onto GTA IV but your a different character. Same maps. Some new cars i think. Saw one that i hadn't seen in GTA IV.

Cheers bud, might wait and see if it drops a bit more, dont know how long the 360 will take to come back and dont want this staring at me for weeks.... OH would kill me if I bought another one to tide me over :p

Seriously thinking of defecting to the "dark side" and getting a PS3 as although they are now failing I've lost all faith in Microshaft.... mine was SUPPOSED to be a more reliable v2!!!!). Rep added for taking the time to reply

The Ballad of Gay Tony has a few new extra bits. Here's a few I can remember off the top of my head:
- They've added a tank.
- You can now parachute off buildings and out of helicopters
- New helicopter(s) added
- A few new cars added
- All new set of weapons (I think they've replaced them all with slightly different ones but I'm not sure. They've definitely added a grenade launchers type thing though, you see it in the trailer when the character is on the train shooting at a helicopter)
- Probably more but I can't remember anything else..

Not sure about Lost and the Damned but I think it's a few news cars/bikes, some new weapons and also new driving physics. The character you play as is a biker so the physics for driving a bike have been enhanced and those for driving a car made "worse" (presumably as the character isn't as good as driving a car as he is a bike)..

If i've missed anything or got anything wrong, feel free to correct me! I'd be interested to know too

Hello, just popping in to remind people that the disc version includes 3 extra radio stations that are not available on the download version (Vice City FM is fantastic).

The Ballad of Gay Tony missions are great fun, haven't played Lost & Damned yet.
#15
Can you buy this, install it to HD, and then play it with the GTA4 disc so I can sell this disc off (as with the Fallout DLCs)?

Unfortunately not.

Buying both games through live would set you back 3200 points which is equal to £27.20. So anything cheaper than that for the disk is awesome. At least with the disk you can sell it on afterwards.

Does the disc version have all the radio stations of the original game as well as the extra stations of the DLC and the 3 bonus disc exclusive ones?

not quite - 2100 points can be had for £15. 1600 for each DLC therefore equates to £11.43, making the pair £22.86.

But, as you say the disk can obviously be re-sold which is making me lean more towards that option.

I was just basing my prices on the presumption you bought the points at RRP. As you said though Live points can be found much cheaper hence the DLC works out cheaper.

It has some of the original stations (some are renamed), but the playlists are different. I assume there would be licencing issues including the original songs as well as the game is standalone.

There is a pirate radio station you can download and play as a custom soundtrack on your 360: http://www.gamertagradio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12035
