GTA IV hasn't come down further since the Xmas Steam sale so I guess £4.99 is the floor price.

Would dearly like to get Bioshock 2 but with so many games waiting to be played, I think I'll wait until the next sale. I notice that in the latest Steam sale, the original Bioshock was only £3.49 so there room for further price falls from £9.99.

The original Bioshock was £3.49 when I bought it a few years ago in the Christmas sale.

Also, this seems to be a 'best of' the sales they've had over the recent time. Not a bad idea though.

dunno why people are voting this cold, there's some great deals with games like borderlands at £6.79

Just snapped up Borderlands for £6.79!

They did this at the Christmas sale as well. Its a good idea imo :)

It's been a disappointing sale after a really good start. Only got Lead and Gold for £4.99 and a day later they marked it down to £3 so was a bit miffed about that. Borderlands, Devil May Cry, Left for Dead 2 were some of the star deductions. But I had most of them.

So, compared to last year's Christmas sale, this has been a bit of a let down. Some games were well-expensive like Battlefield BC 2 which I got boxed for £14.99 and they are charging £20. Let's hope Christmas is better.

Yeah but their best of sales idea is a bit daft as the prices are higher when they were on special offer for the day e.g. Devil May Cry 4 was £3 in the sale, now it's best of sale day and it's a tenner! Where's the logic? And the price of Metro 2033 is astoundingly bad. Shopto were doing it for a tenner and they are charging in the high £20s.

So I give this sale a C- (could try harder).

I agree but sadly i've spent ~£40 on 12 things and am considering The THQ pack, Borderlands and Bioshock 2. Might have to exercise some self control :whistling:

Edit: @ Above comment: Devil May Cry isn't in the daily deal today, its just in the "main sale". All the daily deals are the same prices as they were in the last week...

Awesome price for the Monkey Island chapters.

GTA IV gonna be any good with athlon 64 5000+ 2gb ram ati 3850 gfx card??

You can do cool online stuff with it right?

I was gonna say, DMC4 is back to what it was before due to not being part of the final daily deals... Picked up Borderlands yesterday and because of getting the 4-pack, only cost £5.09 each, so got the DLC too.

A good chance to get something you may have missed before...

Devil May Cry 4 was in their sale yesterday...I picked it up for £3.74

I have an Nvidia 9600M/T6500 lappie. GTA IV struggles a bit on the top detail settings. Had it for ages but can't yet get enthusiastic about it. More a Bioshock kind of bloke.

I've been enjoying these sales. I bought these:

Bioshock 2 - Played a tiny bit but it's so similar to the first I already feel like I've played it.
Left 4 Dead 2 - I didn't think I'd like this as I don't enjoy horror games, but this isn't at all scary, just FUN. Superb game and will buy any successors.
Just Cause 2 - This game looked mad when I saw a trailer, so I forgot about it. More recently I watched some gameplay footage on YouTube. Wow, this game is awesome. It's very similar to GTA, but less storyline and better action.

I hope that helps some people.

Killing Floor is worth it as well. Just played it and thought it was really good.

Just bought Left 4 Dead 2 and GTA IV to go with the GTA San Andrea I bought the other day!!

Deal has now expired, was a one day thing.
