What does the American Dream mean today? For Niko Bellic, fresh off the boat from Europe, it is the hope he can escape his past. For his cousin, Roman, it is the vision that together they can find fortune in Liberty City, gateway to the land of opportunity. As they slip into debt and are dragged into a criminal underworld by a series of shysters, thieves and sociopaths, they discover that the reality is very different from the dream in a city that worships money and status, and is heaven for those who have them and a living nightmare for those who dont.

A fantastic deal from Movietyme, originally £34.99, now reduced!

You can add £1.00 extra for quicker delivery.

IIRC MovieTyme sell the American versions. It'll be the same, and will play on UK PS3s, but bear in mind you might have issues selling it on or trading it in...

Still a great price though if, like me, you like to keep hold of your games...

Will there be any problem downloading patches or online play on the UK PSN? I am still waiting for my PS3 from e2save but this is a great price so would be up for ordering it now if the only issue is the resale value?
#4
Good price, managed to get a 2nd hand but mint copy from ebay for £25 tho!
#5
Decent price but I wont be buying it purely because its not PAL.

Wouldn't have thought there'd be a problem, people with the US version of COD4 had issues when the US version was patched sooner than the UK one, and there were issues with UT not being compatible, but I haven't heard any issues with GTA.

I'm not 100% positive that's the case, but I'm somewhere near 95%...

Hot deal, but I'll get a Euro PAL version to be on the safe side. I don't want the possibility of issues with online, updates, extra content etc.

If the game is for PS3 no it will not have any compatiblity issues because it's blue ray and blu ray is region free.

blu ray isnt region free?

the games are 100% region free, the films however are NOT all region free, some are and some are not.

Yeh but the subject was already about games so I decided not to bring films into the topic.

isn't GTA4 region blocked because australia had to have a less violent version. i read somewhere that the australian government asked sony to block it to stop people buying the more violent foreign versions. i'm not 100% sure though.
