400 degrees to let Tesco have 30 quid for the next 4-6 months until Amazon or the like inevitably sell it at ~£35 on release.

Lulz.
Happy to pay £30 now as it will effectively go down to £10 when I quadruple the points at clubcard rewards.Know of any retailers thet will sell it for a tenner on release date???

Except it doesn't go down to £10. Name a single Tesco reward that actually gives you 4x the value.

It's certainly as cheap as you're ever going to find it between now and release though.

Papa Johns T&Cs: Not available in conjunction with any other offers or discounts and only one code can be used per order.

Papa John’s codes are valid on all menu items excluding Ice Cream and Drinks. Any ice cream or drinks products which are in your basket will not be included in the discount.
Papa John’s codes can be used as full or part payment for food. You can top them up with cash, no change is given from Papa John’s token codes and they cannot be used for a tip.

I highly doubt you'd actually get 4x the value when those conditions are in there.

I forgot about the Goldsmiths offer but I guess that is temporary and isn't particularly useful to most people.

You may not want anything from goldsmiths but I always make my vouchers go further.Last year I exchange £100 of clubcard points and bought a Tissot watch for £400 which I sold on for £320.I then used this to buy a new tv which should have been £600 but was half price in the sales. Not bad considering I didn't actually pay a penny out of my own pocket.

I would say 99% of posts on a discussion forum are designed to provoke a reaction in some way or another.
Yours on the other hand provoked a reaction and made yourself look foolish.
If looking foolish was your intention, then bravo sir, you have succeeded!

Wicked comeback from a guy with such obvious wit and much maturity.

True but I class them as a freebie as I have to buy my groceries somewhere lol xx

So they've taken money for the whole order, I bought something which was 57p to make the order 40+

:(
#613
Also taken money for my entire order despite it being a pre-order. Any way of getting tesco to refund the £30 extra they've taken 4 months early?

It does state that. Tesco Direct take their money on order, unlike the old Tesco Entertainment which took money on dispatch.
#615
Mr. Tesco's being very sneaky here. Making us collect from stores (in the hope we'll buy other stuff - noticed in Asda earlier they were making a big song and dance about click and collect too), and taking money straight away on pre-orders. Thought they made billions in profits?

Whats the best guess for the games release date? May 2013?

Expected release is April, I thought.

Robbing gits have taken the money now instead of when released!

Yeah they took my money too - I think it's because of the 49p cable thing, they have to take the whole payment. Grrr not happy, but at least it's all paid for I suppose.

Ordered with the aerial cable! Thanks!
I've been trying for hours! Still no joy :(

Remove GTA, go to checkout, select click and collect, back out, add GTA, should deliver GTA and say that you collect the other item. Just dont bother getting the other item and it will get refunded. Hope it helps!

DO EXACTLY WHAT HE SAYS

Am I the only one that has been charged 30.67 for something which is not in my hands and can not be until April/may 2013???
Hmm the other i bought was on reserve and collect which I did not go collect yet , and don't think I will ...

It must be down to the code used sometimes they won't pay cashback when a voucher code has been used
#630
Not only has my cashback been declined, but the pre-order isn't showing in my Tesco account and the money has been taken!

Original cashback got declined. Nother cashback came up like £4. Last time was £1. Yay

Just sent what I ordered back because found out my nephew already had the DVD - it was £3.00 but on the email sent to me to tell me about the refund it says £7.00 refund. Tesco are actually paying me? Fools - serves them right for taking the money before release.

It is indeed about GTA V! :p I am talking about pushing the price over £40 to use the code, I ordered a DVD for my nephew but he already has it. Tesco charged me £32.99 for GTA V & the DVD (£3.00) but the have sent me an email confirming that I sent the DVD back as my nephew already has it and they have said the amount they are refunding me is £7.00 - the DVD cost me £3.00. Which means they are giving me £4.00 more than what they should. I'm not to bothered as it means I'll get GTA V for £25.99 (£32.99 - £7.00), bargain! Cheers Tesco!

How would this help you? Nothing to do with price promise. They made a boo boo and refund me £7.00 instead of £3.00. Thats all there is to it.

Because you said
Tesco changed me £32.99 for GTA

You didn't say whether that was before or after the deduction with the code? If you meant after than you should have said that.

You have, for some reason changed 'charged' with 'changed' in your statement...

Anyhow, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out this is after the code - £39.99 + £3.00 = £42.99 - £10 voucher code = £32.99. Simples! I don't need to point that out surely? I didn't have to say that at all...it just takes common sense to understand it.
