Code: CEBAYARGOS

Grand Theft Auto V will take full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4 with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail, as well as an immersive first-person mode. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar Norths epic reimagining of Southern California.

Waiting for this to creep down so I can justify the spend having already got the PS3 version X)
Exactly my position.
Can those who have played both advise... are they very different?
Worth a purchase if you're half way through the story on PS3?
It looks sharper and is a great game hence it holding its price. Played through to completion on PS3 and it looks awesome on PS4. Do you own a PS4 already? Worth £23.40.
I'll end up with it at some point... not allowed my PS4 until xmas - got a price glitch honoured by game (179 for the 1tb bundle) - my wife is holding it hostage and I have work to do :(
Sounds like the wife needs to go then mate :D

When you get to the checkout, you can select a store to collect from and there is also a section to enter the promo code

Gonna hold off as it's scheduled to be in the 12 Days of Xmas deal on psn, hoping it drops lower than this

it looks a lot better and obviously first person mode. Also I don't think they update the previous gens with all of the new content. I think its worth this price, I payed £50 when it first came out having already owned it on xbox 360 and completing it.

Yes it is 100% worth the purchase, even though the story will be familiar to you. Rockstar stopped updating online content a while back on PS3 as you'll know. On PS4 there's been so much extra dlc for online, which is impressive when you consider it's all been free! So there will be a lot to see that you won't get on PS3 and more than enough to justify buying.

Youre missing out on a lot of online content, ps3 version is lame after playing on ps4.

Get it, you won't regret it, it's heaps better. So much more content and quick load times. New multi level car garages are coming soon, new cars and bikes, endless fun compared to the ps3 version.

Also if you are thinking of buying over PS3 version, if you like GTA Online, they support it lots on PS4 with content and updates whereas PS3 is end of life with no new updates now.

would invest in ps4 or xbox one as it comes with better support more features and more players online

You won't regret it, I still use my ps3, but the current gen is amazing.

Because the online part of the game is ongoing and ever expanding. It's not just a game you complete and bin. Every couple of months there are free updates / expansions available which is why it makes perfect sense that the price is fair at anything up to fifty quid as most other games will make you pay a fee for each expansion or to buy a new game altogether. GTA V Online will be updated to 2019 at least.

Spot on. Their endless free updates show up other companies, when they've been releasing broken, 50% full games and then charging £30-£35 for season passes!

Does anyone know if the £5 Sainsbury's off voucher for Argos is valid for this? I had one printed off the other day from fuelling up at one of their Petrol Stations. Thanks :-)

Think I'll just wait for GTA 6 now. Doesn't seem this is getting cheap enough.
#27
why they don't make any story DLC for it? it's been out for ages, doesn't make no sense.I mean I played it on PS3 when there was no PS4 / Xbox One.it's crazy.
#28
Brilliant game, can't go wrong at this price. I bought it at £35. The free DLC content is never ending as well.

It's worth it and your save file can be transferred via rockstar social club so you don't lose any progress. (Ps trophies will not be transferred though and will need to be unlocked again. Although any progress before a trophy is unlocked will be logged and trophy then achievable after meeting the criteria on the newer ps4 version.

I don't see why not, although the offers most certainly won't combine. You either use the code or use the voucher. You'd be incredibly lucky to have both accepted.

Can't speak for GTA 4 but in GTA V the protagonists are satirical and you're not meant to like that in the same way you're not meant to like Jordan Belfort in The Wolf of Wall Street. If you hate the game(s) for that then you're very much missing the point.
