Thought this was a good price for a pre-order.

Item price is normally £49 and you need to add a cheap £1 item to make it £50. I have added this:

http://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-100-combed-cotton-face-cloth-cotton-blue/671-4749.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=671-4749

Code to use is:

Description:

Grand Theft Auto V will take full advantage of the power of PlayStation 4 with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North’s epic reimagining of Southern California.

Switch between the interconnected lives of Michael, Trevor, and Franklin as they embark on a series of heists across Los Santos and Blaine County in the biggest, deepest, and richest open world experience yet, with game world enhancements that include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover.

The new generation upgrades also extend to Grand Theft Auto Online, an ever-evolving Grand Theft Auto universe. Rise through the criminal ranks by banding together to complete Jobs for cash, purchase properties, vehicles and character upgrades, compete in traditional competitive modes, or create your own content to play and share with the Grand Theft Auto community.

All new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, including an extensive array of new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties, and player customisations will also be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with much more to come. In addition, the current community of players will have the ability to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC

Not a bad price, heat added but there's still time for price improvement, never keen on them taking payment on order placement

This. I remember when TLoU opened pre-orders they were all £40...now I have it pre-ordered for £31, which is about as high as I will go for remasters.
#5
Don't forget Tesco take your money off right away
#6
Really poor price. Not worth this much at all for a remake.
#7
Didn't bother with the PS3 version as I was waiting for the inevitable PS4 release, but I think £30 will be the biting point for me.
#8
This price is a joke if you've already played it.

These deals where you need to make a new account shouldn't be allowed. Every single time something comes up on tesco it is somehow hot because of this £10 off
#10
I hope they still release the DLC for 360/ps3

You're not really spending an extra £40 though are you. I flogged my PS3 copy for £25, so I'm spending an extra £15 for the upgrade.

#14

#15

I was on the fence about this, but the prospect of denser traffic excites me. The next gen has truly arrived!
#18
I've already played through it all on ps3 but 100% will buy again just to play through on ps4 I've been heat from me i might go for this one myself

They wouldn't sell any new copies then. Everyone would be buying ps3 versions just to upgrade.
#21
Are they going to do a ps3 to ps4 upgrade offer on this?

Can't work out if you're being sarcastic here. Although traffic density (in the game world) is kinda cool in a sad way.

I get through about 4 cars just going on a short journey, last thing I need is more traffic!

This is a joke, I paid this amount back in the day and got 100%.

The fact you can't take your single player save annoys me too and now they want another £40? This should be £30 max!
#25
Great game, don't have a PS4 but should be better than PS3/Xbox. I remember waiting ages for GTA3 and VC to reach the original Xbox, well worth the wait it was a much better game on Xbox.
Never really got into the ONline part though, always too few players felt like you were playing in a post apocalyptic city, and far to slow between loads / missions. Hopefully the PS4 online is better though.

The jetpack will be in this version.
#27
Even though they take money on preorders remember you can still cancel it. I ordered two MK8 bundles but mate pulled out and I cancelled with no probs.

Saying that I already have this and completed on 360, will definitely get it for the PS4 but I won't pay more than £31.50

Full priced item. Just applying the usual £10 tesco code. Cold.

You still get it at the lower price so your argument is ridiculous.

Waste of money. £40 for a game that's going to be a year old when it's released. It would be better to pre order the PC version for £27.99.
#31
this is a big reason to get a ps4

Surely it must be a big reason go get a ps3, 360. Xbox one or PC too then?

I would say it should be less (not new, improvements won't be that drastic). Right now the current gen games are ridiculously inflated.

Stone cold. Rip off for a lazy developer to charge anything over £20 for a port.

Clever rockstar! All that money =) will pick it up when it's a bit more reasonable

They can do something like people who bought and went online before February 2014 can upgrade for a small fee like Minecraft etc are doing.

You do get it at the lower price and why there is a section for codes. All pre orders or games are £10 cheaper posting the whole of the Tesco stock with the code applied though is ridiculous. So all the lazy posts that do that I vote cold.

Are they forcing you to buy it? No. They are not.

So many idiots in this thread. That infact, is the real joke.

Maybe if you have a 1k+ PC setup :)
