At a time when even the most bland mass produced cheese is costing over £3/lb, this cheese is a fantastic bargain.

Forget the over-salted, buy one get one free, mature cheddars that dominate the supermarket shelves. This cheese has a superb taste and very pleasing texture. The cheese in wax wrapped and comes as a segment cut from a round cheese.

I've just bought 2lb of this, and doubt it will last until next weekend.

For the Europhiles, the price in Kg is £3.50/Kg

Morrison's is in-store only.

yeah, me too.

When you say it is strong, not like normal lancashire - is it still soft and crumbly like lancashire?

No. There are 2 versions of Lancashire; the white crumbly variety you mention, and a creamy textured, less white variety which this is. You can also get mild creamy Lancashire which is easier to make sandwiches with.
