Same price as single disk except this is part of the collection and comes with bonus disk. One of the best films I have ever seen; certainly very emotional. Price Matches with Play.com Although I prefer Amazon service myself. Possible further discount avaliable with codes and whatnot.

Too sad for me.
Good price & remember Amazon & Nectar points or Play.com & Quidco

Pretty standard price for this film - but well worth seeing

This is the only Ghibli film I couldn't really enjoy - seemed to me most of their trouble was due to Seita's pride - it made me angry :x

Unusual reaction to the film it had to be said. Price is actually expensive; you will never find this film for cheap.

Yup - all the Ghiblis are around £6.99+ usually.

It was Seita that made me angry in the film - but I guess his attitude is synonymous (can't spell it sorry!) with the Japanese carrying on the war way past the point where they knew they couldn't win or even gain anything from continuing...

this film makes me blub like a girl

Really sad film which made me cry. For a film to be able to evoke that much emotion from a guy like me is testimony to how good it was.

This film was based on book that was based on real life events and are people gonna post all the 6.98 Ghibli films as deals now? Someone just make one thread for all the films

I had the exact same reaction and it's one of my least favourite Ghiblis too. Still pretty good though, and a good price. My fave's Laputa: Castle In The Sky.

tears pouring down my face, devistating film.

can't bring myself to put it on its so depressing.

not a good intro to miazaki, get something more upbeat to start with.

It's a good job that Miyazaki didn’t direct this film. He did direct more uplifting "My Neighbor Totoro" which was released at the same time as this film.

I've blubbed my way through piles of Anime - not this one - in the case of most Ghiblis out of pure joy :p

+1 on the blubbing. Excellent but very upsetting.
