I used to be a member of the Folio Society years ago so I can vouch for the quality of their books. Beautiful Typography, traditionally sewn spines, superb designs and illustrations.

At the moment they have some pretty amazing deals if you join, just before xmas.
All you have to do is buy 4 more books from them before March 2010. Simple. Last time I was a member, I think I was with them for over four years!

Offers at the moment include:

Times Atlas of the world + FREE Leather bound Oxford Dictionary and Thesaurus
Only £14.95 (should be over £260)

Fairy Tales Collection + FREE Wind in the Willows
Only £12.95 (should be over £230)

Entire set of Beatrix potter books + FREE Wind in the Willows
Only £19.95 (should be over £250)

It might sound like a bit of a con that you then have to buy 4 more books before March 2010 to keep these joining offers, but if you are a keen book reader, you'll probably be buying more (like I did!).

Enjoy!

I think that's pretty unfair.
I have a lot of the Folio books and they are superb quality.
The best price I can see the Times Atlas is around £130 so your saving £110 straight off.

Even if you don't want to buy the extra books, you get to keep the free gifts.

But hey, not everyone has the same taste.

I have a copy of the Times Atlas, which came via the Folio Soc.
It is superb, and the only way I could ever justify buying it.
Personally I don't understand paying lots of money for Folio books, but each to their own,and this deal as posted,is hot.
