Got this as a DOWNGRADE for my son who wasn't using half of his T-mobile contract but I've been trying it out for a week and I may well give him my next upgrade instead. It's a really nice slider, instant access to Facebook, Live Messenger, Skype, Last.fm, I have all my e-mail accounts 'pushed' to it, (camera is OK (3.2 MP).

In addition to the 300 mins/texts you also get an additional 300 mins of calls to other 3 users (all of the family are now on 3 so this is great). Also plugs into my laptop as a USB Modem.

Best part of the deal is the 6 month contract though! They have another couple of handsets on the same deal (LG KF310 and Nokia 3120).

Quidco offer £32.50 cashback on a new Mix & Match 300 contract and it doesn't seem to specify contract length so worth a try - I already had mine when I noticed that!

Good deal - deduct quidco and its less than £60 for a good phone and usage.
I got quidco on my 3 contract and yes it was slow but it did get paid last month (took 3 months)
Hot from me

Crappy network, cs stinks. Seems all fine and dandy to begin with but they will screw you eventually. Phone however is suprisingly good quality build.

Is the internet usage included in the rental? if yes, any usage limit?
Thanks!

I got this phone in October on an 18 month contract for £20 a month unlimited texts, Internet, 3to3 calls and 200 mins. Love the phone and all the things that it does. I have even used it on occasion as a bluetooth modem with good results. If your a Facebook fan this is def the phone to go for as it is so simple and fun to use.
Oh on a side note dont kneel on the screen it breaks lol. Done this just after I got it. Took it into a 3 store and was told it would be £55 to repair. 3 days later I paid £29.99 and they replaced the phone as couldn't repair it. Been with 3 for 6 years now and no problems even when traveling in Europe

Seems a good deal and is hot from me, though personally I wouldn't go with 3 again, mainly as I find the 3 network unreliable as I often get poor level of signal in buildings and in low areas even city centres.

My quidco was rejected last time for a Three 6 month contract.

Thanks adam, that is always the risk with quidco as it is never guaranteed

What a Crap network and what a Crap Handset

I know a lot of Three employee praise Three network on websites.

the fact is network itself is a joke.

I hardly get any calls connected
all important calls missed
always disconnect during important calls

Just got a G1 from T- Mobile on 12 month deal ...
Half and hour with customer services Joker to get my PAC

Yeh, to be fair I saved the 'network settings' option in my handset quick links so when I know I've gotta make an important call, I switch it from 3G to 2G signal and this means theres no risk of dropping the call as 3 use Orange masts (I think) for their 2G signal. Doesn't help if you get an incoming call while youre on 3G in a bad signal area but for the cost of my contract compared to what I was paying, I'm willing to put up with it.
Some of their deals do seem to good to be true. That's because they are! You don't get nothing for free (or 3), as you should know! Customer service and good signal comes at a cost, which is applied to other networks' tarriffs.
Think of 3 as the ryanair of the mobiles world!!

I've just had virtually the same experience as Bibu. On Three moved to a G1 on T-Mobile (cracking deal on afforable mobile when they upped the quidco to £55) but spent ages trying to get my PAC. Muppet on customer services was insisting that the G1 was an old handset without the internet capabilities of even the cheapest phones on 3.

Contrast that with Virgin who took 5 mins to give me a PAC and even said sorry that you're leaving etc.

While on Three I found their signal to be just as reliable as the other networks.

ive been on every pay as you go network
and to be fair three is a little worse then most of them
but i dont think its as bad as everyone is saying here

and a six month contract with that bundle for the price i think it brilliant
even if your not claiming quidco

yes, the cs is a joke, but clearly not as bad as people make out. i'm currently in a mess with v.m - after finishing the contract they left the phone on a 'direct debit' ie; a contract with £0 line rental, no tariff, yet you can use it, and it'll be taken out.

my bro had been using it, i assumed it had ended as it should, then i received a huge bill.

imo, virgin mobile are the worst, bar none
