This is great for cyclists as it can mount on your helmet or handlebars, for recording adventures and/or commutes. Apparently it can be good for insurance claims too!

The quality is meant to be pretty good.

These were on here before but they sold out just before I snapped one up. Since I've already ordered one, I thought I would share :D

this looks a handy piece of kit hot for me

I'd love a waterproof one for kayaking...
Be warned though: "In the process of taking video it will auto save the video files every 5 minutes. When the memory is full ,the device will auto delete the files taken, then continue to record"

Tried one some time ago. Trying to get the drivers, download them from a very dubious site and then get the camera to work. Nightmare. I actually gave up in the end so good luck if you buy one.

But it will take a 16gig Micro SD card, so the likelyhood is the battery will die before this happens (as long as you put a big card in it).

It'll look great mounted on a cycle helmet. Does it match the helmet mounted lights?

"helmet mounted" - these have been on here a few times and I am tempted but there is no picture of any kind of helmet mount.

Duct tape seems to be the helmet mount of choice for these things if you watch the vid at the bottom of the link

I've had one of these for a while now and it's great apart from two niggles. The date stamp cannot easily be removed but you can get rid of it if you go here - http://www.mytempfiles.info/gum/project3.html Secondly to set the date and time you have to put a TAG.TXT file into the root folder. This makes it virtually impossible to accurately set the date and time and, the unit regularly forgets this information and defaults to 01/01/2008. I would recommend this cam quite highly but for these faults.
