We all know the Xbox 360 Premium has now been reduced by £30, reducing it to just £249.99 but now I believe this to be the best bundle so far, which offers you an extra 4 games and an additional wireless controller for just an extra £35, which is worth at least a £100.

The package includes:

Xbox 360 Premium Console (includes wireless controller, 20gb harddrive, headset etc)
Blue Dragon
Gears of War
PGR 3
Live Arcade
Extra Official Wireless Controller

Hope this helps. :)

This really is a great offer, my brother desperately wants one............hope this doesnt sell out before he gets a chance to have a look!!

I'm sure they'll keep getting more stock in but don't take forever thinking about it and if your brother doesn't manage to buy one in time...... then i hope he doesn't go mad like in your aviator. :giggle:

There will be better deals coming out soon with the price drop, I'd wait if I was you.

That's including the pricedrop but obviously you never know, the pricedrop just happened, so retailers may offer better prices in the near future but i remember buying the same bundle from Choicesuk but instead of including Blue Dragon, the bundle included Crackdown and that price and package wasn't beaten for several months..... until now.
#5
I dont know if you will Recieve the item though as choicesUK ltd are going into administration as they have debts of over £13 Million

http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/news/ChoicesUK-administrator-39optimistic39.3141216.jp

But if they are still dealing it seems a good bundle

The same package, but with Table Tennis instead of GoW (:? ) is £269.99 instore at HMV...

Just so you are aware ChoicesUK went into administration (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6956536.stm) a few days ago, they are still continuing to trade for the time being (they sent me out my preorder'd Bioshock yesterday) but I'd make sure any potential purchases were made on a credit card to cover yourself.

Isn't Choices having problems at the moment?

Sorry for the double post, the site kept crashing again and again but the post below is more relevant.

Are you sure it's the same bundle including the PGR3, Live Arcade, extra controller on top of the 2 big games, as i can't seem to find anything about this on there site?

Do you have any links?

Besides, HMV are very hit and miss with there service, a lot of the time taking weeks to deliver and have the worst customer services i've seen, so i wouldn't order from them again after the 3 times in a row they let me down.

Have been trying to reply, But server keeps crashing!

ChoicesUk are going through a few problems (looking for another buyer), So i'd only buy using a credit card, I think they'll be ok anyway, But to be on the safe side using a credit card would be best.

Choicesuk are safe, they don't charge you until your order is about to be dispatched, so there's no chance of being ripped off and besides, there's some potential investors that are strongly linked to buying them out, so there's nothing to worry about.

Has anyone ordered this? If so has your credit/debit card been charged.

I am really tempted to order but alittle dubious as they have gone into administration.

Thanks

I'm loving the fact that I bought almost the same deal from play.com (swap crackdown for blue dragon) for £290 + £11 quidco over 4 months ago and it's still yet to be beat. :)

Are you sure it came with the PGR 3, Live Arcade and extra wireless controller as well, as i've only seen Choicesuk offer this for ages and Gamestation also had it for there xmas offer?

They've been in administration for a few days now but they're continuing with the mentality of "business as usual" and some customers on the forums have recently ordered something since they went into administration and still received there product, so it seems very positive on top of the reports that they're likely to be bought out soon.

Don't forget that they don't charge your card until your order is about to be dispatched, so if the worst did happen, then your money wouldn't be debited. :)

Yeah, it came with all of those. The only difference is Crackdown for Blue Dragon, which suited me at the time because I wanted to play Halo 3 beta. I think amazon also offered exactly the same deal at the time for £290. Still a good deal now imo.

I'm tempted to order, but in doubt seeing as ChoicesUK are in adminsitration? Good or bad move to buy? Has anyone recieved theres, or ordered?

Help appreicated.

I have ordered, but dispactch isnt till the 28th. Got an email asking for me to call them as Im a first time customer and its such a huge ammount of cash (they want to make sure its NOT a stolen credt card)!!
I had no idea Choices were in administration. I am a little nervous now though. Cant call them till monday now, they sais if they dont hear from me within 5 days they will cancel the order. So not really sure what to do cos I think this is the best offer around. I AM sorely tempted by the PC World elite and 2 games bundle......hmmmmmm.

Hi mate,

Read post 13 to see why i don't think you have anything to worry about, they're still continuing business as usual and your product will be dispatched before anything happens if it did come to the worst.

Remember that even if they don't operate in the future, then it doesn't matter, as your 3 year warranty is with Microsoft and not the retailer.

The PC World deal is brilliant if you're after an Elite but it's no longer available at the price it was stated (because you can only use vouchers for delivery) and it's now only available for collection at store, which also means you can't receive cashback from Quidco as well.

So the package is now £299.99 for 2 games with the Elite or you can buy the premium with 4 games and an extra controller for £15 less but it all depends if you want the premium or Elite console. :)

Hope that helps.

Thank u realfriendlyman. I wasnt really looking for the elite, but I was expecting the price to be a lot higher. However, with 4 games AND an extra controller, I still think this is the better deal. R u sure the warranty isnt with Choices??
Thanks :-D

Yep, everyone one in my family has there own 360 and my brothers xbox has had a lot of problems and he's had to call Microsoft directly every time to get a replacement.

The warranty is actually for 1 year for any problems and an extra 2 years solely for the "ring of death".

It is safe to buy from Choices. Administration just means they are working on clearing the debt, and will still function as they did before.

When a company goes into liquidation, that's when you lose any money that has been taken from your account. HOWEVER Choices don't take money until the product is leaving the door, so you are safe to order whatever happens anyway :)

Enjoy your XBOXs!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! I still havnt recieved it!! I just checked my account and it says 'stock ordered'. Im really irritated cos it was very clearly 'in stock' when I ordered, and when I spoke to them on the phone at the beginning of the week, they said it would be dispatched the following day. Clearly a bit of a whopper. I dont know what to do now as its for a gift and I need it soon, should I cancel and reordrer elsewhere?? Did anyone else that ordered recieve theirs??

Very strange, I'd personally call them again and findout what happened with the order but once the order is dispatched, you'll receive it the following day, as they send it out by next day courier, so don't worry. :)

When do you actually need it by?
#30
My local HMV has this offer in-store for £223

One of the benefits of living in a VAT-free area I guess! Still, seems like a bigger deduction than just VAT.

Thats an EXCELLENT deal.............where do u live??? lol
#33
So............I call them up and ask them whats going on. They tell me they have no stock (even though its still listed as available and ready for dispatch on the 5th on the website). I tell them I had a confirmation order etc etc, and that I also called to confirm credit card details. I told her I was told it would be dispatched the following day. She says........well that was pointless because we didnt even have any stock on the 24th, so we wouldnt have needed ur credit card details until we had some stock. She said they hadnt had any in stock for ages. I have had to cancel my order now and Im really peeeeeeeeeed off!! I didnt get an email to tell me about this or anything. At least the woman was apologetic. For a company thats in administration and NEEDS its customers, I think that this whole situation is horrendous. Thats £300 they would of had off me, and I certainly wont use them ever again.:x :x :x

I decided to avoid these because of the administration factor. Employees knowing there jobs are currently on the line, the business won't be operating fully, for things such as dispatches and wholesale orders, by the sounds of what people have said. If I were you, go for the JohnLewis deal if its still about, I got PGR3 and Live Arcade free with the extra controller when it didn't state that. Cost me £226(ish) after Quidco and £10 off with f/delivery.

Woooooooow, that is a good deal!! Well done you!! lol

I couldnt belive it today, after ranting and raving and fuming yesterday.......they rang me today and asked if I still wanted the console as It could be dispatched....right then!! lol. I was gobsmacked......especially after what they had said to me the day before (about not having any stock, never having had any stock and DEFINATELY not having any stock for at least 10 days)....So I thought wat the heck.....so it should be here later on or 2moro (fingers crossed!!)
So anyway, after ranting like a madwoman, It looks like its finally coming!!
Woohoooooo. lol
Think their staff need some training thought as some of them obvioulsy dont know what theyre talking about!! :giggle:
#36
It arrived!!! Woohoooooooooooooooooooo
So in the end, it all came good.
Sorry for the rant realfriendlyman, I was just so disappointed as it was for a gift.
Anyway, its here now and I got the deal, so Im a happy chappette :-D

Hi mate,

No worries, I know it must be worrying knowing that a company is in Administration and then it seems as though there's a big mix up but I think this must of happened because they let go of a lot of people during this period of time.

I heard Choicesuk has now been bought out, so hopefully they've sorted out the problems and they keep the same level of customer services. :)

Hope you enjoy your games, make sure to buy Bioshock and watch out for Stranglehold and Halo 3 to name but a few, they're expected to be amazing.
#38
Will do realfriendlyman, and thanks very much for posting the offer!! I bought it for my boyfriend, whos birthday is next weds, but I was too excited and gave it to him yesterday!! lol. He is over the moon.
Thank you:-D :-D :-D

Repped u too:thumbsup:
