They should just rename this site HotWalkersCodeUK.com :p

Nice price, but a collection that boasts as being the "Greatest Ever War Films - Contemporary Classics" and includes "Three Kings" just makes me chuckle.

Heat added.

Agreed - they are not the greatest ever films, but its not an awful selection for the price.

Three Kings is the worst "war" film I've ever seen.

Jarhead and Three Kings in the greatest ever war films. Shouldn't they be in the worst war films?
#15
Thought some of the cinematography in harness was amazing though especially when there in the oil field.agreed not greatest ever but very good as modern war films go.

Apocalypse now..the deer hunter..tora tora tora...bridge on the river kwai ...all quiet on the western front..list goes on but the above wouldn't even make the top 100.
these defined their generation.
Hasn't been a decent film for many years. up till the hurt locker

But the title of the collection says "Greatest" not "A real mixed-bag, but the cinematography is exquisite" X)

Silly collection title aside, it's obvious these films have been selected for licensing reasons and to appeal to a certain target audience. Anyway, for under £7 it's a no-brainer for those who desire :)
