another poor deal from itunes.... it won't even open the website unless your PC has the itunes ****ware.... good if you're time poor and cash rich for everyone else buy the CD and rip it - then play it on whatever MP3/mp4?PC/laptop's you (rather than apple/music companies) chose..

1) You don't need itunes to go on the apple website
2) iTunes plus music from the itunes store is DRM free and works on all music players that support .m4a, which includes Sony Ericsson walkman phones.
3) Do some research before you may uninformed comments.

1) Clicking on the link caused an error message to appear in Firefox for me.
2) So they are no restrictions at all now ? i.e. the mp3 file can be copied to any PC/mp3/mp4 player etc as many times as someone desires ? if so then this is a step forward.

Last issue for me is to reduce the price to match the lower quality when compared to CD..... and to reflect the much lower production costs.....so still poor deal IMO.

Exactly.
£5 for a Run DMC greatest hits CD would be too expensive (currently, you can buy "The best of Run DMC" for £2.98 at Amazon), so it's even worse value for a lower quality download file.
